Horrible FPS Drop after Operation Chimera Update

After updating the game to the latest Operation Chimera Patch, I have experiencing a lot of fps drops both in Multiplayer as well as in Outbreak Mode. Before the update, I used to get a consistent framerate of about 80 frames per second at ULTRA setting with TAA Anti aliasing. My config is: i7-7700HQ, 8GB RAM, GTX 1050TI.

Now after the update, not only has my frame rate reduced down to the 60s, I also encounter severe frame drops in between games, as low as 35 fps. At this point, the game is becoming unplayable. Also, it seems that the Outbreak mode works at half the FPS we get in Multiplayer. I am getting some 35 to 45 fps.

Ubisoft has completely broken the game with the new update. FPS Issues have always marred the history of Siege. But this time, it's just downright atrocious. And with these things, they rev up the prices of the base game.

Please fix this Ubisoft. ASAP! And I know I'm not the only person who is facing this.

    Same problem

    I have the same problem.
    Alsways played with 80-110 fps.
Now outside it drops to even 45. Sometimes even lower like 35. Inside i get like 60 fps. But has some huge framedrops now and then inside too.

I always played on high settings. Now i have to set things on medium and still have lower frames.

I really hope they gonna fix this.

After Operation Chimera Update I started to have the same problem like this dude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Twf918yrH8

Reducing the settings down did not help me.

There's something with the lighting and shading going on. I turned those down and it fixed it for me. It's in both this game and pubg which makes me think it's an nvidia issue with their 10 series cards

Yup. i7 7700k and GTX 1080 but I'm stuck around 90-100fps now when I was hitting 300 unlocked a couple seasons ago. I noticed a similar drop with white noise but it went away on its own after a while, guess it's back again.

It is getting even worse. After the new "awesome" sliders were integrated I used T-AA-2x with a render scaling of 70 and a sharpness of 100. Now after the chimera updates I had to turn the scaling down to 50. I still get FPS drops. This game has become a blurry mess for me since the patch where you introduced that stuff. It sometimes even becomes really hard to see an opponent at longer distances at all with just a holo on my weapon. Get that stuff running properly or revert it finally!

    ....

It seems abit map based aswell, for me its Extreme in border map, get like 30-45 fps, Lucky if it stays on 50-60, before chimera i had 100-120 fps stable..GPU usage is like 99% now..

Can confirm reduced FPS (and I don't even see much visual improvement) - I play on Ryzen 1700x + msi g x 1080ti on 2560x1440. Before the update I got almost stable 144+ fps on TAA 75% on +- high settings, for now FPS became very inconsistent and its not due the CPU - GPU core is loaded 100% almost all of the time during actual gameplay. I always loved siege for great optimization considering lots of destruction (speaking of graphical and physics engine) but now I'm totally not sure. They fixed Ryzen crashes but for now fps just sucks. I didn't noticed it for the first time, but it affected my gameplay quality due to very inconsistent frametime (e.g. game constantly dropped from 144 to 100 or less fps) as I felt some input lag involved but couldn't tell what's happening. Of course its not that bad as drops to 30fps or stutters , but It is worse than 100fps fixed or even 60fps fixed. I reduced the graphics settings but it isn't that helpful actually

    E-sports ready, as always.

I have the same problem, I get 40-90 fps in multiplayer, I used to get 80-150 on high before CHIMERA with my i5 6600k,16gb ram and GTX 1070. Also my gpu and cpu is at 100% and i'm getting a BSOD sound when blowing up walls and throwing grenades.

When i first updated the game i was getting 60-20 fps, i fixed that by turning vsync on and off in nvidia control panel which was weird as vsync in-game was turned off.

Has anyone tried rolling back nvidia drivers???

    PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM UBISOFT!!!
