I'm done. This games so ****ed that it can't match u with people of your strength/ level. I either get matched with a level 11 with all lv.5 (including lvl2 MBP) cards or against a level 16. So since these problems have persisted, and the developers haven't made any point to address these things,(just need mystic out of existence, which I had level 4 cards for and had to make a whole new theme.) I am personally going to remedy my situation. I am going to sand bag myself as far down the ranks as I can and just beat up new players. Who needs legendary rank? I will rule level 10. I will frustrate the these new players so much that they will quit playing. I'll be doing them and the Devs a great service in this as new players will not waste their time as to what will inevitably happen, and the Devs won't have any more people hating on them, sending them mean messages. Then they can stream to 300 ppl and we can all enjoy the game.
As for sandbagging, I guess it's not a banable offense, since it's happens to me all the time , so SMD Devs.

You should drink some of this:
It actually works amazingly well. Got me through my rank 20's and 30's.
Teabagging works just as well as sandbagging.
It’s not hard to get level 4’s. A common level 4 is just 55 copies. You can get that in a few days.
Search for a team with 30-49 members. Check the donations chart to see how active it is. Get your *** in there and start donating cards like crazy. Donate cards that aren’t in your deck. Then just keep requesting one specific card until you get it to level 4. Try not to overlap with someone else’s request, otherwise cordially claim dibs on it in the chat.
Just as an example, I collect on average 25-35 Astronaut Butters a day from my team.
Focus on common cards. Level 4 rats can carry you pretty far. Save materials to max out your level 4s.
If you find yourself losing a lot and you really want to collect some extra rewards from the lockers, just drop 2-5 ranks. It’s honestly not such a big deal as people make it out to be. It’s a friggin’ phone game..
Anyway, use that time to bulk up some of your cards. When you’re feeling ready, go break through the higher ranks.
If you can't compete in legendary, you basically have to sandbag. As for mid level ranks, I ran through levels on my smurf. Using my knowledge of the game, I was able to beat people 5-6 levels higher than I was. If you aren't using the right cards, you need to switch up your deck. And once you pick your deck, you need to stick with it, because it takes many weeks per level 5 common or 4 rare. Once you have all level 4-5 cards, then you stand a chance in legendary.
If you aren't even close to legendary and you are losing, it is your deck. It has nothing to do with sandbaggers. Sandbaggers tend to stay in level 40+.
yea i don't think they even programmed in a matchmaking system. I accidently made it into legendary, and I was tower lv14, legendary rank 4500+ and my average card lvl is 3 since I use a lot of epics. I was faced with the guy ranked in 8th place on legendary.......4500+ vs. 8, he was tower lv22.......14 vs 22, and the first 4 cards he spawned were lv6.
Clearly the best recourse is to have ranked pvp and regular pvp. Ranked pvp will be based on your ranking and regular will be based on your tower or average deck level. Probablly better to have an average deck level, that way people running with all lv5+ commons can go eff themselves. Thanks to them, thats all I see mostly, high level commons at low mana cost, its not even a good stradegy just annoying.
OR you could just stick two 2 themes and level those up instead of jumping around when you're frustrated from losing. But even IF you want to change themes, you could get them up to speed with some time.Originally Posted by Zorpinka Go to original post
Like i said before: level 4 commons are not too hard to get. All you have to do is find a team with lots of donators, stay active, and just request cards.
2-3 requests a day = 24-36 cards. A level 4 common is 55 cards. All you have to do then is harvest the materials, which isn't difficult with pvp packs, free packs and weekend events (especially now that you get the team packs as well).
I'm F2P, started in November, and got into legendary a couple weeks ago. I got a lvl 6 astronaut butters, lvl 5 sally, and the rest are level 4s or 3s. I log in to play for the pvp packs only, and set up my card requests.
There will come a point where you just stop climbing up in the ranks. If you expect to climb up in the ranks every single time you play, you are mistaken. Think about it, if everyone playing simply kept going up and up, then who is going down? nobody. and that is impossible to have in a game.
you pretty much have to sandbag if you EXPECT to win. if you reach your maximum rank where you are losing all the time, just go down 2-3 ranks. by going down in ranks, you are at the same time, giving wins to others. You need to notice the signs, like when someone immediately says "good game" and throws up spells uselessly, they are giving you the win.
And don't fill your deck with nothing but epics and rares. you won't get anywhere in upgrading with them. common cards at 5 level are better than you think. the problem with upgrading is that you don't know what cards you should upgrade first. by the time you figure it out, you've just spend all those upgrades on the wrong cards. which is why i think they need a way to trade those spent upgrade parts out of cards you don't want anymore. best rule of thumb, work on common cards with very low energy cost.
