This is seriously a TON of great news! I no longer have any concerns about the editor. I'll have to try out this lobby system before judging it, but I can stay optimistic. Still one question though, can we jump into public matches with friends? It says we can start private matches with friends, but what about taking a party into public lobbies?
So I grabbed some screens from the video linked in this post.

Judging by the hud, this is obviously PVP.
But is that ATV driveable?
Honestly, this seems like the best of both worlds. I’m not going to judge it just yet. Think about it for a moment- have you ever been in a FC2/3 lobby and wished that you could just inject your own map into the playlist right then and there? This lets you do that. So I want to see what this looks like in action.Originally Posted by usmovers_02 Go to original post
Furthermore- if it doesn’t work out, they should work to implement something better, ala Siege. Siege now is WAY different (and better) than what it was a launch. Almost a different game
So many games charge ridiculous sums of money for DLC maps and Far Cry has always had my respect for continuing to have a map editor. I have been worried before that Ubisoft would one day stop putting it in the games as it always seemed to be an afterthought, but after watching the Far Cry arcade trailer today I couldn't be happier. Everything I have wanted has been confirmed and I will gladly continue to support the franchise. I can't wait to get my hands on this new map editor. I have even booked time off work so that I can spend hours upon hours playing with it's new tools.
Seriously though, Yetis, Zombies and Aliens in an Assassins Creed meets Watch Dogs first person shooter.. I'm completely sold.![]()
I am taking a day off work as well. It won't be nearly long enough, but better than nothing.Originally Posted by Uncle-Biff Go to original post
