Yeah I had deliberately put an emphasis on heavy and vanguard because there have been so many assassins and hybrids. I am not complaining about that, I mostly play assassins and I get why they felt they needed to give the same kinds of characters to all three factions (in short some people only play their own faction and would have complained), but certainly there are more heavies needed and more vanguards would also be a good thing to make it so that people who like their style without going into a hybrid have more than three characters to play (or one for those who don't stray outside their faction).

Unpopular opinion: I think the roman/greek design is boring and doesn't fit with the game.

I get that they're popular, but when I joined the knights faction, I sort of expected... You know, actual knights.. When both of the DLC characters for my favorite faction turned out to be roman themed, I was hugely dissapointed. Especially with how cool the other faction's classes were. So far, I've saved up for three of the six DLC characters... None of them were knight faction, despite there once being a time where I pretty much exclusively played knights.

Hell, the Highlander is more of a "knight" style class than the damn Romans are! A European-themed character with a Renaissance era weapon and clothing design is much closer in line with the "Knights" than a bunch of Roman dinosaurs.

There are dozens of different classes that could be introduced to give the Knights some flavour that are actual knights. Here's some right off the top of my dome:

Dreadnaught: A "Heavy" class with full plate armour, a closed helmet, and a giant zweihander/montante. Specialises in group fights and area control. High damage, high defense, but limited mobility. A kind of cross between the Lawbringer and Highlander,

Chevalier: A light "Assassin" or "Hybrid" class with light armour, a rapier, some sort of off-hand defensive tool (parrying dagger/buckler/cloak) and a big fancy hat. A foppish duellist with high mobility and a focus on counter-attacks, parries and reposts, but with very low defense and a high skill floor.

Paladin: A moderately armoured "Vanguard" class with a mace or arming sword paired with a kite shield. Focuses on breaking defensive characters open with lots of gaurdbreak chains, throws, staggers and stuns, but lower flat damage than other classes. Works best in a supporting role.

That idea took me, what, a few minutes? C'mon, man, it's not even hard! Give us some actual knights!

Eh the knights are the ones with the forge and the huge hammers so I would give us even odds, was why I went with a forgemaster kind of idea.

I would want a spartan added in the future but I also agree with you, they should add some real knights before they add heroes that is not even related to knights faction. I really like your templar suggestion, I'd love to have a sword and shield character for knights.
