Spartans and Romans are different.

Spartans, Romans, different by how much, and please no history lesson. In terms of weapons, whats the difference? One or the other would want a javelin, a short sword, a xiphos, they arent much different in terms of what you could do with said game. My point is we need more knights, after all that is the name of the faction.

Just because its highly suggested class does not mean it necessarily belongs in the game though.

We got romans because they're mentioned in the story, the same sort of thing with the vikings as it mentions they're ancestors carved the statues etc and I believe something is mentioned about the samurai's ancestors.

I dont believe this game should stray to far from what it is tbh, knights, vikings and samurai should be the main bulk of characters as its about them.
The romans, celts and ninjas?(not sure on name tbh aha) should be the only ancestor cultures to be added IMO.

The first new characters after reworks I believe should be Knight, Viking and Samurai warriors before any new ones for the ancestor cultures mentioned above are added.

As someone else mentioned there are so many weapons etc in history that still havent been used, that new characters could for new Viking, Knight and Samurai warriors.

Spartans are some of the greatest warriors that have ever existed. They definitely deserve to be in this game.

Basically a cent with a spear I'd rather some more European knights before the6 verge off anymore both the dlcs seem inspired by more roman then actual knights

I would say no, but seeing how I absolutely love Centurion and Gladiator - Romans, who I thought I wouldn't care for - then if done correctly they'd be a nice addition.

However, not before all OG characters are reworked/rebalanced, and some DLC ones as well. Last thing we need right now is new heroes.

it would be too much of the same. we have gladiators with the 1handed spear + valk aswell as the cent who got their legendary spartan kick from 300^^
i'd rather see something more unique and/or actual knight/viking/samurai stuff

Hell yeah I would love to have a spartan. My ancestors were known to be the greatest warriors in history. Their enemy's would tremble before them in fear. It was said that 1 spartan warrior could best 10 men. So If you guys do make a spartan warrior he better damn well be stronger then all the other heroes combined... lol jk jk.

If said "Spartan" could be unique to For Honor in some way, and have some distinguishing features that don't just look generic, I could accept it. Though, he would have to have some innovative mechanics and play style. Perhaps, the ability to switch between using a Spear to a Xephos shortsword. Maybe he could have a consistent Guard that normally covers two Guard Positions at a time- only able to Guard left or right, but with the Top Guard constantly covered no matter what? And, perhaps, when he attacks, his attacks are somewhat slow, and only allow him to crush counter in one direction. Perhaps the first DLC Vanguard?

If a Spartan makes it into the game... He will be Auto S tier... He's a Spartan... He will be S tier. Hybrid with more melee centric mix ups that actually work compared to Centurion.

I hate racism and people of all origins are of same value, but stop making this game into something it was never supposed to be!

Enough of romans, scotts, picts or whatever ... give us real kinghts/samurai/vikings!
