I saw one a few months ago and he got reported and he's still running around with that same exact name.

No let's ban people so they will go out and buy ANOTHER copy of the game so they can play again.
Genius
Our stance is that it's obviously against the rules and will be dealt with when pointed out to us. You can report players with usernames like this directly to support. I'll send it in for you this time.
If someone isn't using slurs or racist/homophobic/sexist language, they don't need to worry about getting banned. A "****" filter would just encourage trolls to get around the system by using weird spellings and such. Instead, player's make reports which can be reviewed for accuracy and punishments are made in relation to the severity of the behavior.
If someone values the use of certain offensive words in the game chat over their ability to play the game, that's their choice.

That makes sense, they did that on CS:GO too so people cheat and go buy another copy to cheat again.Originally Posted by Raytheon... Go to original post
Who cares if the other people are buying another copy to repeat the process? If some idiot wants to keep paying Ubisoft to allow them a short period of time to be any one of the scummy personalities of humans, then so be it. Let them keep draining their bank account, keep getting reported, banned, and repeat. Are you going to be mad at Ubisoft because they are not able to prevent a person from buying the game? To get a new account, it's an annoying timely process and costs money. Let people waste both.
And just like Ubi-zoro said, report people with the usernames and those people can get banned as well. You can also report those people to either Microsoft, Sony, Steam, etc. for those platforms to enact punishment as well because that would be going against their Code of Conducts.
I don't get why people are getting so nit picky when Ubisoft is finally getting rid of a portion of the toxic community, and they say they will be announcing plans for more toxicity control. People should be happy and get behind it, help the reporting actually be worthwhile, help get a bunch of people banned, and wait for the next step. Nothing is going to happen overnight.
I'm so sick of this generation of 'precious snowflakes' who get offended by just about everything that doesn't fit their disney fantasy of a perfect happy world.
Having an "offensive" name is not even close to being as toxic as all the douchbag teamkillers that ruin this game, yet hardly anything is being done about that but Oh No, let's waste time and energy and money on idiots.
Personally i never really bothered with players who use weird names, unless it's really hateful, but even then a name like the example shown in this thread could just be a "joke" from someone with that particular ethnic background
If someone insist on walking around telling the whole world what a ****** they are then so be it, they won't be making a lot of friends that way.
