Unless your friends are swearing machines, I doubt you'll say those things by "accident".
    I'll give you an example.
I used to say a word in english (I can't say it here for obvious reasons) and I didn't know that for Americans it has a homofobic double meaning towards lesbians, now I know and I refrain to use it, but its a cultural thing that belongs to a foreign culture, maybe I had offended people without even knowing it.
And there is a different kind of problem that is the update with the SJW, since next time some medium (like buzzfeed for example) declares that a new word is offensive and ubisoft put that word in the banned list how I should I know that? Like for example if the word "Black" becomes racist tomorrow a lot of people would get banned for racism without knowing it.

A option to hide the chat from a specific player during the match like we can do with the "mute" option would be very useful and welcome.

That is something the team is considering for the future, along with other systems and features. This chat toxicity update is one piece in a larger puzzle of improving the atmosphere in-game and other QoL changes.

Just like with Team killing ban, I doubt you'll be in trouble for doing it once or twice. It's probably be something that will accumulate over time and you'll get increased warning/ban for it before really getting into trouble. I doubt anyone will get banned permanently for using improper language once.

As for your "black" example, languages take a while to change. I can't think of a single word that was normal a few years ago and is now considerate extremely offensive. These things usually change in increment, meaning you're most likely to know it's becoming a word with offensive meaning well before it becomes so offensive that it can get you banned for using it.

Lets hope it wont be so bad, the TK ban was what made me worried because you don't have at least a "forgive system" like in Battlefield 4 where you can say if the TK was intentional or not, and if it was the guy gets the ban, and the way it is I got banned twice.
I'm infavor of a system to avoid these issues, my point is that it shouldn't be so vague. About the "Black" example the problem is that the system don't seem to be made to reflect real language, social interactions or to get context, the moderator said on this topic that the word "F**k" is OK but before reading that I thought it would be a word passive of punishment.

I may be wrong, but seems more like the system will work like (this is an example, not 1984) "You said "blackbeard", that is a racist term and you got your first ban, don't do that again" a few weeks later "smoo" that is a homofobic slur that just people on the film industry know becomes relatively known by the SJW public because someone said it at Oscars and is included in the database so you say "I hate smoothies" and get a second ban for homofobic language and so on until your fourth and permanent ban.

I think this is good in this particular circumstance. Rainbow six is meant to be enjoyed by people of most ages and every sex race and creed. If people cannot act appropriately in this social setting then they have to be controlled like children. This is how it’s done and the people protesting are the problem. I do not sympathize with them one bit.

What about the "...obscene, vulgar..." part of this update? Tell me Ubi isn't about to start banning people for cursing on an m-rated game?

That would be a poorly implemented system dating back 2 decades ago if it were the case. I really doubt it will be like that. Again, I wouldn't worry too much.

PS:Just to be clear, I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm trying reassure you. As I said before, I, too, am not a native English speaker and I'm not worried at all that I'll use some bad language by accident.

I doubt normal cursing will be a problem.

We are not looking to ban people for using "swear words", we're focused mainly on racist slurs and sexist/homophobic comments. You can't just cuss out other players and expect to face no consequences, but just swearing in general isn't going to get you in trouble.
