If you really have learned from your mistakes and honestly believe you shouldn't have acted like you did, not because of the ban itself but because of your actions, sure, I think everyone should have a second chance.

This whole automated bans things for "wrong words" is extremely archaic and primitive approach that always suffers a lots of drawbacks. I, for myself, couldn't pick the nickname "korrektor" years ago for this game (I used it a lot previously) because it contained the "offensive" word "rekt" (and moreover there is, for instance, legendary Echo MP5 skin that literally have "REKT" word written on it).

Banning people for this while everybody else can still continue being toxic and insult everyone in voice chat is a.... strange decision, at best.

Make proper separation of "global" and "team" chats. Make "global" chat between teams muted by default.

I asked for it for ages, and pretty sure that I'm not alone. This will reduce the amount of chat wars and those "toxic" situations by a good margin by itself, because most insults are made by opposing team members

For now you can only turn off the whole PC chat and this is unacceptable for the team-based game, while in other games we can see even 3 or more different chats (global, side, team, lance, etc.)



For now the whole situation is absurd again. When I made a thread about suspending people with suspicious stats one of the community managers stated that "we don't want false-positive bans" and now everybody is getting instantly banned for answering the question of how cigarette can be called in britain

Yesterday i played with funny guys. Talkin on text chat looks like: "n word this n word that, good n word dead n word, my gradfather has cotton farm full of n words, and i am triple k clan member" Gamers soon develop their own coded language, like in prison

I'm with you on that part. I've been asking for something like that since day one. Apparently they're working on something like that. I'm just wondering how difficult it is to code such a system. I could be wrong but from what I remember from college, it should be relatively easy. Anyhow, we'll see soon I guess.

People can use new words or made up words to be toxic, however there is already a problem with this bs system. A few friends and I were playing when someone asked who the super hero Cartman played was.......guess what the answer was from 2 of our guys.....The Coon or Coon and friends.......boom 2 guys gone talking about a southpark character giving the other team the advantage. While I agree racist bull **** is toxic and not wanted this system is not going to stop or curb it its just going to add to problems. Are you going to ban every word that someone says is offensive. Because that is the only way this will stop people from sharing racist or any other ist comments.

If you're not a native speaker, I doubt you have anything to fear from the system. I'm not a native English speaker either and I have to go out of my way to learn most of what is considered racist(or anything not allowed here). Unless your friends are swearing machines, I doubt you'll say those things by "accident".

And there is a lot of players using the character's picture as avatar with the intent of banning others, I for example never knew that saying that animal's name is a slur.
