Will we have a list of banned words or something? It will work only for english or are there other languages included?

What about microphone abuse, there's alot of it and nothing is ever done about it, is there a way to monitor it?

You can report players directly to support, make sure to include any clips of their behavior that you're able to capture.

I'm not sure if we'll be posting an official "banned words" list, as it should be pretty obvious what type of language we're talking about: Slurs, homophobic language, sexism, etc.

Basically, just try to be a decent person to those around you in-game and don't let the toxic guys tilt you into saying something that puts yourself at risk—report them and rejoice in the justice that will fall upon them.

I'm not a native speaker and the system will be automated for sure so there is no margin for context or something that can have a double meaning.
I'll avoid the chat as much as possible to avoid any trouble and talk to friends through discord or skype.

    Plz dont do it Ubi

Ubi, This is a bad idea.
Well first i've gotta say that i'm against it. Why? because they wanna ban "hatespeech", which, as you may know, has no legal definition.
The big problem that i have is that it will restrict any form of dialogue that uses a word defined as "bad" by ubi.
And if they listen to the cry babies like they did with the recent Ela nerf, nearly every word that is offensive to at least one person is gonna be "bad".
Now i hope that this message will be read by a moderator or something cause i dont want them to make this error.
Soon, a lot of people will get banned because of saying one word juged offensive even if it wasnt meant as offensive.
And i know this came for a good idea, but a rule like that is really hard to apply without restricting the liberty of someone esle.
So as i mentionned earlier, Plz dont do it Ubi.

While I'm in favor of a system to minimize racism and stuff on the chat so we can keep a healthy environment, you got the same point as I, those people who get offended by anything will abuse this system and a lot of people that a not ill intended will be banned.
I asked about how to be sure that what you say will be safe to say like a "banned words" list (kind of absurd but just an example) and the response was "Basically, just try to be a decent person to those around you in-game and don't let the toxic guys tilt you into saying something that puts yourself at risk", but what I can and cannot say? And what about non-english languages, are we safe from it?
I understand that companies do this kind of censorship and there is nothing we can do about, I just think this will generate a lot of problems to the people who don't deserve.
