I don't even know who Kaide 2.0 is. Who idea.

I just joined this forum today. Because I think I'll love this game, but I almost feel guilty for liking it. Or what I've seen.

I don't intend to argue with people and most of you have been abrasive in some ways. Religious cults happen, and this game seems to really make that a fun thing to go with. More than likely I'll be a Day 1 buyer.

But the whole purpose of my post and concerns stand alone. I don't need people questioning why I'm questioning things. It really created a vicious cycle of silliness.

Like in my original post... AGAIN I'll state... I was viewing both sides of the issue I had. I was being objective with it. I was.

Yet the hardcore high post count people come in here and act like I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm talking about my "feelings".

Then when I give specific instances that somewhat offend me or could offend others. (I overall am not offended, but I'm hesitant on the game's premise) No one looks at those... I just get called out for being someone else, when I AM NOT.

I think this game could be the best Far Cry game yet honestly. It has a nice depth to it, but at the same time I don't want it to misrepresent what a Christian is... or what one could become.

To me, at the surface at least it seems like this Josepth Seed dude has twisted the bible around to his own way... went crazy and now is enforcing some insane stuff on people, which is interesting and seems like a lot of fun to play against.

From what I've seen, read and viewed... I had concerns. I apologize for voicing those concerns to any elitist that might be here. I never intended to argue with anyone or upset anyone.

    Peace and Love.

I am not this person you claim me to be. Sadly you are wrong. If possible a Ubisoft mod or someone could confirm this.

Also, I'm not here to rile anyone up. My original post, I thought... was a interesting one that could have some deep discussion, but it immediately was deemed invalid by a forum elitist...

so I'm a noob here, and I know nothing. Sad but true I guess right?

That's fine. I'm not mad, just disappointed that my thread got hijacked into something else. Far Cry 5 looks to be a great game. I'm excited to see how it all goes. I really am excited to play FC3 on PS4 now too!

I'm really not sure what you hope for this thread to accomplish. It's up to you to decide if this game goes against your faith or not, none of us can stop you from being offended by it. The game is already finished, and obviously most (if not all) of the forum users here have no problem with the topic matter of the game.

    Yes, I understand this.

I also mostly don't have a problem with the game. But some of the content does bother me if it was intended to mock Christians. Which I don't think it does, but I wanted to see what others thought man.

I'm a fan of the series. You guys want me to be bashing the game so badly... but I'm not. I know I don't have to buy it.

I know I have to decide... the catch is... I'm having a hard time deciding, so I wanted some insightful opinions on what people think of the content and premise of the story.

What I got were bait posts mostly and not much help.

To those that helped and you know who you are. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the time.

Just FYI, I didn't necessarily mean (though do sort of suspect) you were literally the same person, but you're posts and ideologies seem to have the same intent & purpose. No one cares about your post count, or how high someone else's is, fact of the matter is, your original post did not in fact point out specific things you're finding offensive and all Vira did is ask about a specific example, and you've turned that completely justifiable & legitimate request into a victim card that you're leaning into rather hard now, another tactic used by a former poster...

    Nah.

I'm not trying to play a victim card. He was acting as if Far Cry 5 didn't have anything do to with Christianity or it being mocked...

    Which there are resemblances. Period.

My post was very much cast aside because I didn't list things. Which I felt like I didn't need to, but later on, I did list things.

It's whatever. I've been majorly polite in my thread, I don't intend to cause fighting. Thanks for everything guys. Have a great weekend!

Objective? ....and yet you say in your original post: "I'm expecting a lot of "don't like it... don't buy it" posts and "get over it"... the typical liberal stuff." Then you continue to be passive-aggressive with some of your remarks since then.

You completely glossed over replies like mine, Hortys and Sofa's which were civil and (I thought) insightful. Instead choosing to foc on Vira's posts taking offense to him questioning you which in itself I would chalk up to him simply not understanding (or not wanting to understand) your situation. ....totally ignoring everything else the rest of us wrote.

At this point I have to agree with others that this looking more and more like a troll attempt. Even if not, some of us took the time to actually try and help you and you chose to ignore us. .....c'est la vie.

Not really. You've made several jabs at liberals and other beliefs, which only serves to rile up the forums. It's completely warranted for someone in this thread to call you a "troll", even if it was not your intention.

    This.

    Anything else is overthinking it.

I am a Christian I got married in church am I offended by this game no.

My view is that Joseph seed is lost, he believes what he is doing is correct - I think the story will come good in the end, you just have to watch the videos and think how Far Cry games work in that you liberate areas and free people so I imagine the end will restore faith.

I actually think all those complaining will have egg on face and will eat humble pie after playing the game but I might be wrong maybe he blows the place sky high - I am eager to find out when I play through the campaign, if you liked Far Cry 3 then you should love this, it's a video game certificate 18 Far Cry likes to shock and awe so it is what it is.

I see the real issue that some try to make it something it isn't without even playing it or seeing it (and yes I know it isn't out but there have been areas where demos were available)
Here as well as far as being saved, thanks Fallen-Champ! This was all hashed out months/or weeks earlier in another post and I recommend to you 'farcrychildren' to read all the other posts on the FC5 Forum becuse you will get your answers then!, and, we won't have to rehash this all.
