    Shugoki - Brief Observations

Shugoki is my current bud, Rep 6, having fun, but here are some observations.

    1) Zone Attack

The zone attack turns sharp left when in the open (seems un-intentional)

where-as If I am locked onto a player, I will do the two attacks consecutively, in their direction. (seems right)

It would be nice to have control of the directionality of the second zone swing when not locked on, or to make the zone default straight, instead of the weird left U-turn it does now..

    2) Embrace

Embrace tracking misses too easily for how slow it is.

For example, I could have someone pinned against a corner(no escape) and if they are bumped by anything(another player) as I initiate embrace, I will miss, even though it is clear they are in my hug-zone.

The Embrace Punish... I understand and agree that a failed embrace requires a punish for us, however, right now we lose health AND the ability to block the next few attacks, often resulting in death even if we started out full-health.

It would be nice to be able to at least block once we miss. Perhaps we can reduce the recovery time to allow blocking, but drain all our stamina so we can't attack again immediately.

    3) Head-but!

This does not knock people off ledges, it should.

If normal pokes with a dagger from a PK can knock me off a ledge, the Shugokis Headbut should send you flying!

    4) Revenge

I can be easily staggered, stunned, and knocked down in revenge, something seems wrong with it completely. check it please.

    5) Feinting

It is my opinion that we should get a larger feint window on our heavy attacks.

    6) Guard Break Vulnerability

Because of my slow swings I can be Guard Broken AFTER I've started attacking (most noticeable on light attack), It seems un-intentional considering GB mechanics on most characters.

    On your points

    6) This. badly...

Valkyries have a reason to complain but Shug has a long GB-vulnerability after following heavy. In fact if you charge a heavy on an opponent you knocked down (from Revenge Acitvation or even OOS throw), if they survive the heavy they can stand up and get a Guaranteed Guard Break. OOS Throw > Charge Heavy is suppose to be Shugs signature max punish. If opponent survives, they get a free GB on Shug. That makes sense? Even if you don't fully charge the heavy, opponent can still get up and land a free GB in most cases.

    2) Either Demon's Embrace needs to be improved, or Shaman's Bite nerfed to Shug's level. For these two moves to so dis-similiar in tracking/accuracy behavior does not make sense to me.
