Co-operative map editor or just play peoples creations with one friend.
Third person camera in the options allowing you to switch back and fore.

When you say Co-Op map editor, are you saying you want to edit a map with another person, or just be able to play a created map in co-op? The latter you can do, the former you cannot.

As to a 3rd person camera, FC has always been, & imo should always remain strictly first person at all times. I love 3rd person games, but I like FPS as well and FC is known for never leaving that perspective, even for cut-scenes & cinematics, & I like it that way, hope they'd never stray from that myself.

It would be a new feature in Far Cry 5. We'll see...

Its kind of like Ghost War. They provided a Custom Match option for folks like me who prefer a more hardcore challenge but then made it "invite only". .....then after some backlash decided to announce on Reddit that they will be bringing a searchable lobby system and more HC features. .....which has yet to be implemented.

They always seem to have good intentions to reach out to segments of the community like that but simply come up short IME. I hope it's different with FC5 but I no longer have expectations of anything new that I might be interested in.

Highly unlikely, I don't think the game will offer such a feature to create a map with another user simultaneously. I would love to be wrong about that though!

People still don't understand that 1st person and 3d person gives absolutely different perception of the game! Just try to play one game (GTA5 for example) 1st person all the game and 3d person. Two different games! Better not to mix....(when you can switch from 1st to 3d person.) Try to play such "switchable" games! Play and watch your feelings! Playing 3d person ....you are more relaxed...game...more like movie. Playing first person you are more active inside, more involved in the process! Because, not that controlled puppet running, fighting and dying, but you. This fact is more evident when we play horror games. Good 1st person horror game will be always scarier than good 3d person horror game. Because "monster" jumps not at your protagonist but at you! This is more scary. You are more involved in the process. But developers of such "switchable" games....either don't understand it or try to satisfy as large audience as possible - "Gamer ,look how cool we are! What variety of choices we give to you! You want 1st person? Welcome! Or.....You want 3d person? No problem!" But this is bluff ! Game initially must be sharpened either as 1st person or 3d! It will influence many....many things in the game. Can you imagine Far Cry as 3d person?! I can't. And can you imagine RDR as 1st person?! I can't. Good game is a good game, 1st person or 3d doesn't matter. But they are very different.....and better not to mix 1st person and 3d in the game.
