    Okay... Why?

Is weilding a naginata exclusive to women, or something? Historically, the Samurai (that is, the ones who were actual warriors as opposed to beurocrats) used the naginata and the yari a lot more often than they used katana. So don't try to pull the old "only women were trained to use it" card.

Hell, take the Nobushi model, remove the mask and give her two wakazashi and a bigger hat, and you basically have a female Aramusha. Same goes for Nobushi: Stick a mask on the existing Aramusha model, change his hat and trade the two swords for a spear, and bam, you've got a male Nobushi.

As for Highlander and Shaman, that's pretty easy: Male Shaman would probably look quite similar to the male Berserker but with an edgy hairstyle, less armour and a dagger. While female Highlander would probably have similar proportions to the female Raider.

Hell, throw in female Lawbringer and Warlord, too. Why not? Lawbringer'd be easy, seeing as plate armour doesn't exactly change much based on your body shape.

Ubisoft has so far done a great job with its decision to go for a more realistic depiction of female warriors rather than go for the typical fan service that most games and movies fall into.
I don' t think Ubi will rethink their gender locks either and quite frankly i hope it remains this way. Why you ask? Well i dont know if you joticed but i have only after ive read "brologan_xeno" 's post. If you think about it, most of the genderlocked characters have a sort ofnanimation that wouldnt look that good on a male character or viceversa. Lb' s raw power warlord's imposing stance shaman fluid moves nobushi's dance SHUGOKI's no words needed( ) ) aramusha (debateble) centurion's brutality...

P.S. when i said sexyness i wasnt thinking about bikini stuff. But more of a long semi large pants and instaid of a bra, a handmade bra made from some white scarfs (wrong word but cant find the corect one. Something like in the fairy tail's dual sword erza scarlet:
