Yesterday, I had more fun than I usually do by finding groups (finally) that wanted to go 20+ waves in Resistance. I need to get to 20 on Carrier but haven't played that one very much. We were well on our way being up on the top of the tower near the engines door on the carrier but then the group fell apart. Next time I got a group, we went into the shed with the reward cache. That didn't go very well. My quick question is where is the best spot to set up the team on Carrier resistance if you want to go 20+ levels. No one I grouped with knew and I'd like to have a fighting chance rather than wipe every time. This one seems tougher to me than the other ones. Pier 93 seems to be the easiest.
As long as yo0u have a reclaimer in the group, you can go up top on the final platform near the far end of the board, the one closest to the Cache shed. You have to open one door(1500) to get up there and just make sure you dont open the door at the top to go into the Carrier. We have sat up there past 20 many times. Just have to make sure someone in the group can kill the Hunters on 15 and you are golden. We usually have one Reclaimer, one Firecrest and then some type of FA build that does good damage in case the hunters go hide which it seems lately they have been programmed to do, they use to come up there and get dealt with but lately, they all hide at the bottom making it a bit more difficult.Originally Posted by Jimmy-48-B Go to original post
Putting all that SHD on turret is useless on higher waves, once the high level contamination round starts you gonna wish your Reclaimer had 2 billion skillpower. You cannot survive it with Reclaimer.
Just camp the Support station and put all your SHD into it. You only need reclaimer on boss waves when you need to tank them and they are all using funny ammo.
Do not put anything into turrets or Pulse towers.
Optimized team for success:
- 2 PvE strikers (EAD and Elite damage stackers, forget pvp strikers)
- Pulse/Smart cover Tac (Better than Sentry)
- Reclaimer
