Ribera 30086. This fix worked for me by accident

Firstly I have Deluxe Edition Hardcopy.
I had deleted Wildlands to make room on my ps4 launch edition but ugraded to ps4 pro at christmas(thanks to my wife).
I installed wildlands last night and went to play it today and all I got was ribera 30086. I searched the forums and saw that it was v1.16 that was creating the issue , after reading the many submissions in relation to it this is what I did.
    1. I deleted wildlands
    2. turned off auto update and re-installed the game.
    3 . launched the game in v 1.0
    4. the game notified me that it was not compatible with my saved game data and if I continued it would delete my saved data. I confirmed the delete and went to launch the game.
    5. At that point I went to the home menu and checked for update. the update version that kept coming up was v1.16. I manually deleted that version update about 3 times but there was still no sign of v1.17 so I allowed v1.16 to start downloading.
    6. I then went back to the game and was prompted to create a new character( in others words start all over again).
    7. On completion of the new character I launched the campaign and at this point I was notified that v1.17 was downloading.
    8. i continued playing campaign until I was notified that v1.17 was ready to install.
9 I clicked on install, it shut the game down and restarted and i was notified that it was unable to install(it quickly flashed up and went again)
    10. The game launched again and it was updated to v1.17 and I got access to online and then downloaded a copy of my saved data from the online storage and its still working.

I've no idea why that would work or even if it was just a coincidence but i dont care coz it worked. might be worth a shot if nothing else is working
