    Kensei rework is terrible

    Kensei main since s1 and they made his top heavy slower and can’t even land it in a gb which use to give him the option to do a unblockable top heavy which gave me a lot of options. Also changing the dodging attack into a heavy was also a stupid idea. Have these developers been sniffing the white stuff? This is the reason why many games have private servers where you can play the older version of the game.

    1. They changed the top heavy and made it better. Now its slower and easier to feint. Thats a good thing.

    2. The dodge into heavy attack WAS a HUGELY smart idea. Now its not punishable with ah eavy attack which it is still easily punished.

    3. Kenseis' rework is great. Just side heavy and go into your combo from there.

    i agree on the dodge heavy its a stupid idea , it should've stayed a light so if i parried it i get a heavy ,, that way the kensei would use it only when needed to counter in a smart way not start every attack with it
    because now most kensei users spam it all the time its safe they dont do nothing else its annoying
    it dodges any incoming attack and gives u a free heavy basically and if he got parried whoops only a light -_-
    if i'm fighting a kensei i have to turtle and parry it twice till he get out of stamina then i start attacking

    otherwise i cant hit him and he'll get free heavy every time wtf !

    unless im completely crazy i def remember doing sideheavies on grab even before the changes because the top heavy didn't do enough damage to finish off enemies with critical health. people dont regen up to 1bar anymore so it's not as important but you would still not use top heavies because they do less damage than a side one.
    and that brings me to; why dont you just do a sideheavy on grab? it starts your combo just as well and it's the same speed as before.

    the dodgeatk to heavy from light was a great change. he needed it. and a light is still for most classes enough to start your combo so it's a fine punish, makes you less reliant on parrying for damage.
