I will agree with bent toe on one thing, the TKing is ridiculous at times. I was in a Ranked match and got TKed 3 times at the beginning of each round, just for the laughs of the other team mates. When we lost the round, everyone left, and I stayed not to be banned. I lost my ranking because of this, and I did nothing wrong. I would like to see Ubisoft put in place , especially on ranked games, a ban on anyone for TKing, and then if its a repeat offender, ban them from the game.
I dont have a problem with kids playing, but my god, if they want to scream and yell, turn off the mics. This is a fun game, even with the annoyances, but, Ubisoft should listen to their fans, or risk losing them. I dont see this game lasting 10 years, if they dont adress these simple things.
I play on pc (arma, pubg, insurgency, RO), xbox one and ps4. Best of all 3 worlds.Originally Posted by I___DRIVER___I Go to original post

You?
You probably have never played PUBG on PC then. The, "theres more mature people on PC" is absolutely false
I play on PC and consoles and there is a significant less amount of crying on consoles than there is on pc
you cannot kill someone on PC without them crying HAAXXX and other general immaturity that literally doenst exist on console and it isnt as rampant
there are entire videos of people crying on PUBG through voicechat
maybe their above 18 but they definitely do not have the casual maturity level of console players
Speaking of troll remarks designed to start arguments instead of discussions.Originally Posted by I___DRIVER___I Go to original post
I own the game on all 3 platforms too, but discovered my laptop can't handle the game (runs a sad 12fps), desktop might run it (if I ever get around to upgrading to a 64-bit OS..still using Vista 32-bit and not used it since I finished college), getting an Xbox 1 S on the first so I can't say anything positive or negative about it, and been playing for a while on PS4. The problem with PS4 is you don't know the age of the players because well over 90% of the matches are no talking players that want to ping instead of call out.Originally Posted by KyuremUSSR Go to original post
Most of the discord gamers I talk to are 15 and up with quite a few in their 30s (like me, 36). One discord server changes out mods from time to time, and I saw a 20-sum mod throw a tantrum over being one of the mods being switched out. So, yes, there is toxicity at all ages.
This is why you make friends on the forums or discord and squad up to protect yourself in ranked. In casual, since the data from it isn't even shown in game, I don't stress over TKs.Originally Posted by dbole007 Go to original post
You assume Ubisoft isn't listening, but as a hobbyist game dev, I understand their hesitance. Think about it from their view, if they make it so a single TK for any reason is a auto-kick (and after so many auto-kicks you get into the ban tiers), how many players would be on the forums (yourself included) complaining because a team mate runs into your bullet stream (I see this regularly on PS4) and died or getting killed because of your gadget or ignores that you threw a grenade and gets killed or passes in front of you throwing an impact grenade (again a rather common accidental TK incident). There are tons of accidental kills so you would see people complaining about TKing still coming up on the forums, and threads claiming they were wrongly banned (which if they were stricter would start being a possible truth), but you would see a sudden increase of people complaining about being kicked due to players rushing into their weapons and gadgets. It's easy for a gamer to demand action and claim they wouldn't care, but once implemented they would be back with gripes about the solution the minute it bites them.
^^^^^ The last part a lot. And this is just because it is sensible. Sensible works a lot in the real world. I hardly get TK on PC. Why? 1) Communicate (wow, its suprising how just 'HI' on mic goes a long way), 2) Willing to give up operators if someone else wants them (do this with Fuze a lot and have actually walked the Fuze through into areas to Fuze for kills, even on Hostage), 3) willing to help folks out, especially new folks, and 4) dont mind the "squeakers" (really didnt know what that meant unitl I had to ask about on one of these threads I think awhile back. thought it was funny and didnt understand why it bothered people).Originally Posted by SpecterPhoenix Go to original post
And, I also live in the real world, so I get Ubisoft's stance on a lot of things....period. I dont agree with them sometimes. But, I also understand them.
I dont know why people say siege has such a toxic community, heres two lovely games i had recently.

Yep, standard games on R6, pure garbage. Ubisoft actually did it.Originally Posted by sev710 Go to original post

it should 1200 r6 plus a 600 point bonus for buying the last pass
because people will be buying 10 season passes all together making that $300
and the very worse of all this **** is that people who bought the season pass grinded and bought standard ops
and attachment. Lose because people now get them free and attachment think of all the things you could of bought from the store.
We all need to recognize what the difference is between a "toxic" player and an "intentionally malicious" player is. Because Ubisoft has already made the mistake of confusing the two.
Toxic: Exercising freedom of speech, can be MUTED like on every other platform if you find you don't agree with their free speech. "Toxic" people may be unpleasant in voice/text chat, but the point is they play the game just like everyone else.
Intentionally Malicious: Teamkilling for fun, idling in-game purposefully (in ranked mode), giving away teammate positions in chat (akin to shouting "Fire" in a crowded theater free speech exception).
Ubisoft shouldn't ban people for being "toxic." They should ban people for being intentionally malicious.
Mute the trash talkers, ban the teamkillers. That's how Ubisoft should have done it.
