    I " loved " getting lost in NA lol. I honestly loved the historical ships and the combat, did not really mind most days the travel times unless I was trading. It was the focus on Econ that killed the game for me. I get 60-90 minutes playtime on my days I can play, spending all that time being forced to do Econ for 5 days just to be able to afford a ship to use in a fight, if I lost would need to spend another week of Econ to replace.

    Afaik nobody ever become rich for being questionned by the inquisition or for having catched the plague...

    No one got rich by being attacked by pirates either, but a lot of people got rich by interrogating at the inquisition or selling fake cures for the plague.

    People may not have gotten rich by being attacked by Pirates but there are some cases where some Pirates became incredibly rich from being Pirates...hence the Golden Age of Piracy. It was a time when Piracy was at it's peak/ is looked upon and romanticised by history.
