Question about DLC weapons... | Forums

So, after not playing Wildlands for quite sometime, I have come back to notice that there are several of the DLC weapons listed in the base story mode. R4, PSG, PDW, MDR. Yet, when I went looking for the R4 in Tabacal, I couldn't find it after getting intel on weapon and attachment locations. Do I need the DLC to get these? If so, why the flying fish are they even listed in the loadout menu if I don't have access to them?

You will need to own Fallen Ghosts in order to access the FG weapons. I'm sorry for any confusion caused!

I have to ask, why would you not own Fallen Ghosts anyway? I don't think I've ever seen a better DLC for any game. It's better than the original campaign. Better weapons and much more interesting enemies. You're missing out. I wouldn't waste a dime on Narco Road, but Fallen Ghosts is a definite must own.

I don't really invest in games that I'm not super into. I have the season pass for For Honor and Rainbow 6, but not Wildlands and not any of the Far Cry games despite liking them. I am pretty sure that I was going to get it but never did. I might later on.

I am currently going around the map trying to find as many supply drop crates as I can to upgrade my weapons as well as my stats.

You are also able to buy the fallen ghost weapons pack from the store, if you don't want to buy the DLC, but the DLC is worth it.
