(As for them this is just a "spectate my 3 members getting rekt by 4 bots" simulator).
You do have a point and it doesn't benefit both parties at all: lower-tier players feel left out and rather unable to draw enjoyment out of it, and higher-tier players feel slowed down by the less experienced ones and getting ganked and losing because the less experienced player died too quickly. And this will only get worse on week 3.

I had suggested to Ubisoft to make this mode a permanent mode post-event, rather than completely wipe it from the game's history after the event ends. And by then, they can allow players to select the difficulty level they'd like. This would be the most ideal way to allow everyone to enjoy this mode on various levels, while at the same time not limiting it to a tight timeframe.

Exactly this. I find myself not being able to play more than one or two rounds of TYM at a time as it makes me feel so terrible that I want to uninstall the game. I have yet have any other game (or game mode) to make me feel that way. I mean if there are participation orders I simply afk in the mode ( I am sorry teammates, I really do not want to, but I simply cannot stand this).

If its takedown orders, like the one I had today, where I am forced to actively take part ... well I kill the enemy in the first round (maybe second too, depending on how I am feeling) try to get in some quick hits on other players' enemies and then afk in the later rounds. I hate myself for doing this because I know perfectly well that I am ruining the game mode for others (which is why I never queue up outside orders), but I see no other way.

I can get stomped in other modes by players better than me, I can be killed by level 3 modes in AI games and I don't care too much. Most of the times they were simply better than me (aside from the occasional bug), but in this mode I feel completely cheated. Imagine playing Monopoly and one of the other players starts owning 90% of the streets from the getgo.

I seriously discourage AFKing. Not worth getting yourself reported and eventually periodically banned and also later on potentially have your account reset, over completing some orders.

For community orders where you are required to participate, landing just 1 kill, or even having one kill assist, should do. Your issue here is, the contract orders that specifically require you to register takedowns or executions in Test Your Metal. That's where you'd have to fight and score kills.

Some players, especially higher level players, are more ready for this mode than others. If you have never tried the Story Mode on Realistic, I highly encourage you to. It helps a lot in recognizing the movesets of the bosses (Apollyon, Tozen, Ragnar, Ranja, Kisan, Seijuro, Siv, Gudmundr) without subconsciously reacting to attack indicators. Runa, Holden, Stone and Mercy are largely the same as level 3 Valkyrie, LB, Conq and PK bots, with added health buff, damage buff, and delayed heavies.

Practice is your best friend. Play in PvAI with matchmaking set to off (remember, you don't have to win the match, just score a kill or two). The more you get used to their movesets, the better. And work on your parrying game, parry punishes are their best counters.

Otherwise, just avoid those contract orders (there should be no more than one every 48 hours). Not worth risking your entire account over them. You should be fine with community orders if you but register 1 kill in Test Your Metal, and it also still counts with matchmaking set to off. Bots won't mind if you run around poking the bosses to land some kill assists. Granted, as of week 2, bots likely won't survive, but you don't have to win, you only have to land some kills. Unless you want that emblem symbol (it can only be applied to your emblem so it's not that much of a deal anyway), then try to win just 1 match every week, for all 3 symbols.

I did not know that was possible! Thank you very much for those tips. I shall do that from now on. At least I don't have to impact others with my dislike for the current implementation of TYM.

Yeah it definitely helps, and you wouldn't be angering other players when you fail a lot. Beware though, expect to get ganked often. Friendly AI isn't likely to survive much in week 2, and certainly won't in week 3. So consider it pure practice; don't set yourself up for being determined to win, lest this becomes a mental chore. Remember, it's not a job. It's all for fun anyway.

    And you're welcome.

Since my PS plus expired last week, im stuck in playing this mode with matchmaking off, and man....it sucks. its the most unfair gamemode ive played so far. All my Bot friends are lvl 1, and they die within the first 10-20 seconds of the match ! and it falls to me alone to beat the 4 of them.

Devs, there is any way to make our AI teamates, lvl 3 bots?

it will take me some time to get PS plus again, until then im stuck with this
