Any time I heard that eagle screech, I ran to the nearest tree, learned to do that after about my 3rd or 4th eagle attack, and from then on it was a rare occurrence to actually get an attack... Hear a lot of funny stories though as it seemed to happen to everyone else all the time, hahaha

At least now we have choppers, planes AND eagles to worry about.

I'm a bit bothered that we might get spammed by ridiculous numbers of helicopter attacks like in Ghost recon wildlands.
One tough helicopter is a fun battle.
Five or ten weak ones is just crap.
If there's one thing ubisoft seem to know, it's how to overdo stuff.

Planes have lots more cons. With helicopters you can easily change directions and do pretty much everything a plane can do. The only real benefit of a plane is speed which is only useful in a specific mission or in a game where there's no fast travel.

Like any other vehicle it should spawn at a consistent rate. They give you a different way of approaching the fight and a more cinematic effect when you down them.

I never thought GRW was too bad although on Tier mode it seemed to get worse. Seeing how Ubi goes overboard on the animal attacks in FC though, I agree that I hope they don't do the same with the aircraft.

I also hope planes in FC5 don't handle like they did in GRW. You didn't even have rudder control in that game. Their helps weren't a whole lot better and were oversimplified. That's one sticking point with me and Ubi games is their vehicle controls and physics. .....they never seem to get them right. I would love to see controls like in GTAV, BF4, etc.

Yeah, if you didn't adapt to what the game was throwing at you ... those NPCs were on their own however ...

As an aside; one modder in a very hardcore version reduced the spawning frequency of the eagles, then added a lot of them as a crafting requirement ...

Unfortunately, modding is essentially non-existent on console. I miss my PC gaming days sometimes.

Well, what did you think of the eagle attacks in FC4 .... ?

I thought they were slightly worst than Ebola lol. But I surely don't think the dog fights will be as bad as the damn eagles. I hated those *****s. I'd shoot my shotgun off in the air but they'd always somehow get away. I kinda forgot about those but now you've brought back my hatred. It's about us unrealistic as you can get considering eagles don't attack humans and usually avoid humans at 100 percent all costs. Humans are a damn predator of the eagle. Some rabid steroid influenced psycho

I preferred shooting at those pests with the turret MMG. However the best weapon against them was the Signature Firearm, the German MMG! That is always a carry piece when I'm walking about...I can drop an eagle in FC4 99.9% of the time. What was it the Buzzsaw? Best weapons for dem buzzards!

Yes, buzzsaw. WAY o/p weapon, but fun none the less. Buzzards shouldn't have been a problem; it was the eagles. However it was hard at times to tell the difference (most likely by design).

Yes by indicating buzzards, I mean't the eagles which were as ever present as buzzards usually are. But then everything, animal wise, was overtly present in FC4.
