Ela has been a plague for ages now and they are finally doing something about it. Good for them.

Constructive criticism and talking about a popular operator who's very controversial is fine and all, but your fighting an up hill battle you are NOT gonna win. Majority of the community believes Ela is OP, therefor Ubi will take the right steps to address what makes Ela OP. Funny thing is the nerfs in the TTS aren't even that bad, she can no longer spray and pray or snipe from a distance because now you have to manage and control her Scorpions recoil, she also got a damage nerf but she still has her insane RoF so it balances out. Also note that I'm not gonna go into detail on how i feel about her gadget, I'm simply gonna leave it as they're okay.

P.s. I'm not saying don't talk about the most controversial operator in the game and give your two cents on whether she deserves nerfs or not, I'm saying that no matter what anyones opinion is it's not gonna change her getting nerfed.

Couple of things the mines are definitely one of the better traps even after the nerf with low ttk and the mine making u defenseless for at least 3 seconds more often than not you're dead not to mention the range of them and that they hit through walls and floors and you can place them anywhere. Two the gun never should have been added its the smg11 on crack like why. Now that that's out the way I agree they shouldn't have taken the polish map out no reason for it at all and couldn't tell ya if they got a grudge or not but most likely its just plain stupid decisions.

Ignorant - adjective: lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.

I explained in 5 paragraph fact-based detail why I firmly believe she is being over-nerfed. Most of the responses have either agreed with me on one part or another, or have just been some form of unadulterated Ela hate. No, I am not the ignorant one here.

You've received some well constructed replies that do not fall in one of those two categories, but for some reasons, those are the only ones you didn't reply to. You might not be ignorant but you are sure "ignoring" all of the facts that go against your point of view.

OP only speaks about Ela, but if I recall correctly she have a sister, is she hated too?
Tbh I haven't seen how the the recoil nerf will affect Ela but she the damage need for sure.
To the guy saying scorpion is like vector: is 26 = 41?
To the guy saying her mines are useless you must not know what they do. They're very balanced right now as you can escape the place they are but will be slower than usual doing so, a well placed mine will stop or force backing and opponent coming through it.

1. Operation Health was a necessity in Ubisoft's eyes to eliminate as many bugs and solve as many issues as possible as early on as possible. Whether or not it was effective is a different issue. It wasn't to screw over the Polish Operators/Players. It was a quality of life improvement.

2. Ela was nerfed because she was OP. But the community, being... well, the community, kept crying about it like they always do whenever a new Operator comes out;

"The new Operators are OP! Nerf them, Ubi! Game's broken! Nerf or refund!"

So Ubi naturally assumes it's a worse problem than it is and nerfs her into the ground. She's still useful and her Scorpion is still an absolute beast if you can handle it correctly. Now she's a little more balanced with some of the other operators. She's still a 3 speed and has ridiculous RPM, so she'll likely outgun you in any fight.

They even said themselves that releasing a new Operator is difficult because it's never going to be perfect first time. Like a drawing; you do a rough sketch, and then go back later to do tiny adjustments to improve it. I.E. Blackbeard.

I'm not sure if this was the same thing that happened with Twitch, but honestly that was a poor decision all round. I can live with the Ela nerfs, but Twitch's nerf was absolutely ridiculous.

TLDR;

Ubi doesn't hate Poland. Operation Health was going to happen anyway. Ela needed a nerf, maybe not this much but she's nowhere near as badly hit as Twitch.
