Hi Ubisoft,
I purchased Ghost Recon Wildlands on the day of release alongside my friends who play on-line. While we love the game in general with hundreds of hours played, since the beginning, we have been disappointed that there is not an option to toggle friendly fire on/off. It would add to the realism and depth of gameplay when playing through the main campaign, as friendly fire is a very real hazard on the battlefield. We all feel the game is missing something by not having the option to turn it on. It seems a simple and easy fix to include on a future update, this is an issue I have spoken to many online players about and all have been positive about having a toggle option for friendly fire in the options menu. I think it would be well received with no risk to the game, as co-op teams would be free to choose to have it on or off. Perhaps a similar toggle option could be useful for private ghost war matches too, but certainly the co-op campaign would benefit greatly from this added feature.
I would be personally very thankful to see my suggestion taken on-board as I think it would improve Ghost Recon Wildlands for the whole community of loyal players.
Kind regards,
Jack
Totally agree,
Also I always found it weird that friendly fire exists in terms of splash damage from explosives but not with bullets.
Also I think I read somewhere that you can have friendly fire in custom games in ghost war, but I can not confirm
The only downside would be that it would likely increase this but I'm sure ubi could easily instigate some sort of punish or forgive mechanic in event of team kill
The OP is talking about playing with his friends. ....friendly fire being an option for co-op.Originally Posted by J-109373 Go to original post
I agree Jack. I always thought FF would have been a nice option in PvE. As for PvP, that would be something I believe would need to stay in Custom Match settings that the host can set. ....not in QM.
Beyond the immersive factor FF would bring to co-op, I could also see people using it to create their own PvP scenarios utilizing the entire map, missions, etc. 2v2 or even a 3v1 manhunt type scenario for example.
FF could be a host option or one that needs to be "switched on" by each player in the session. ....or something similar. There are several ways to eliminate the fear of "griefers" taking advantage of this in PvE if that's a concern anyone has. It would be an option and not a change to the current gameplay.
True but as a whole we would like a players the ability to toggle the friendly fire on themselves. If you don't want it don't toggle so you don't get killed by friendlies.Originally Posted by pandemicreaper Go to original post
