[PC]Opponent Leaves but I get Kicked | Forums

I was playing the Duel Tournament mode and in the 3rd round my opponent left and I was left alone in the arena with no AI opponent and no auto win. I just stood around spamming random attacks for a minute then just stood still waiting for the match to time out when I was kicked out of the entire tournament for idling and given a 1 hour ban.

Is this just some major glitch I got or something? Was there anything I could have done to prevent that?
