    Warden is Dead

For the love of god, rework him.

If I throw an attack at the same time as my opponent he has enough time to feint, and side light in a different direction before I can land the original hit.

Everyone has a move that they can use to trip up dodge attacks except Warden.

I fought a Kensei today I dont know what the fork he did but it looked like he feinted a raw unblockable into a side uninterruptable that he later feinted into a 5 meter long grab. My options were parry or die, and if I chose parry, I died.

And what did you guys do to his countercrush? I used to get that thing off mid-combo. Its gone now!

    What the hell.

Which attack you are throwing? Top heavy? Well, that is his slowest attack (900ms) but it deals heavy damage (40). Yes, a Light will beat it, that's why you do not throw Top heavy if the opponent is ready for it...

Uhm, and Warden also has a "dodge attack": dodge into shoulderbash mixup...

Kensei is the king of feints, be aware and react. If he turtles, use your shoulderbash mixup from neutral (which is even feintable) to put pressure on him.

What do you mean by Countercrush mid-combo?

Sure he might need a little tune-up, like many of the original champs compared to the new ones, but a full on rework isn't necessary. The Warden is surely basic, but that allows a person to do some awesome stuff with him. A good warden doesn't fall back on little all-block gimmicks, or hyper-armor. They use their expertise of the base mechanics of the game to win a duel. Using their knowledge of guardbreak's and parry's to take down anyone. And personally, I think playing Warden is one of the best feelings in For Honor. Taking down these sure complex heroes, with my straightforward, but deadly mechanics feels amazing.

Tune up sure, but the warden has been my main since launch, and i STILL demolish. New chars and old. Another thing is the warden can cover a lot of ground with its 2 heavy swings.

Warden with his tools can win any characters, he is not the best one but has everything to fight. A deflect top light, a shouder bash mix up, a quick zone. His only weakness is he's so popular so people kind of figure out all of his tools. To win you will have to depend on your skill only.

Lol, the warden is harder to win with than practically any other character, maybe if it was actually hard to spam with the other characters your points of him being basic would make sense. But it is not. The wardens shoulder bash is far to slow, his light attacks are slow and even if you parry the second slash is blocked easily. It used to be a guaranteed hit. Here's what they should do with the warden, make his shoulder bad a knock down, speed up his light attack, or rework him to have more than just 2 moves. He is easily the most readable character and lacks any utility. His first 2 perks are complete garbage. At least give him the same ability to party slash that highlander has.
