They should lower the cost of the operators to something like 3,000-7,000 renown It's just way to expensive plus you only get 100 renown a math. You would have to win like between 100-250 matches to get just one operator If someone missed both year one and year 2 season pass then they would have to play and win 1,000 to 2,000 mathces. I think they need to lower the reown cost for those operators. I mean this would go well for someone who cannot spend all their money on R6 credits.
First: the price on DLC operators is to push you to pay money to get the ops which is not that unfair considering with a booster and dedicated play you can make more than 12K renown a day and 25K is 1 or 2 weeks worth of normal 2-3 hours play.
Second: The best way to earn renown is to play Terrorist Hunt on House, yeah pretty boring to grind but its the fastest way ( Play Extract hostage kill those who are guarding hostage rush with a 3 speed and flashbangs to Escort zone is the most efficient but is hardest to execute so feel free to play Classic)
Third: you can get up to 300 renown on a casual win and get around 100 when loosing so assuming a 1.0 win/loss you almost get 180-200 renown per Multiplayer match)
Hi, I'm a person who's only been playing rainbow for a little, but I have the idea of the cost of operators (renown) in the starter edition. I think that since the normal version is 2 to 3 times more than the starter edition, that the operators in the starter edition should be 2 to 3 times more than on standard edition. I think that this is only fair, since the operators on starter edition, take to much grinding for a single operator, and whats more it takes twice as long to get people like vigil, ella, or caveira. I know that ubisoft is making it so all attatchmentnts for the guns are automatically unlocked, but you can still get 2 to 3 scopes, grips, and muzzles if you win one game. So in conclusion i think that the operators in starter edition are to overpriced and should be brough down to 6000 to 8000(or 10,000) renown, not 12,500 to like 20,000, its just to much grinding for new players like me, and it makes me not to play so often just to grind 12,500 for a base character like doc. It only seems fair.
Lets say you get about 200 Renown per match on average, that's still 125 matches, just to open 1 Operator.Originally Posted by RaiNeRpour Go to original post
So if you only have all the basic Operators, and don't have any of the Post-Launch Operators, currently 16 Operators.
You'd have to grind 400 000 Renown. That's an average of over 2000 matches.
The prices on the Operators are waaay to punishing for those that can't afford getting the passes.
You can't expect people to grind all of them out. that's just insane.
What they should do, is to keep the price of the newest Operators they push out high, but after a few months, or when newer ones come out. Cut the price by 50-75%
Back in the day, you had to pay 25,000 for every vanilla op and 10,000 on attachments. Now you have to pay 650,000 for every DLC operator. To count skins, outfits, charms, and helmets, that's another 400,000. Add that up, someone who doesn't own any season passes will have to pay a total of 1,085,000 renown. I get an average of 250 renown per game so that is a total of 4,340 games. A heated ranked game takes me 30 minutes. That adds up to 3.01388888889 months of pure playing just to buy everything with renown.
