    Suggestions for better D3-FNC and more...

    Hello there, agents!

    Recently I got a Valkyrie Weapon Set. I was delighted and decided to test it with my D3-FNC (FrontLine) Classified Gear Set (6 parts). Disappointment appeared almost immediately.


    Nuances and problems with using of a D3-FNC Set:

    1) when the Shield is active, it is not possible to change the weapons to a sidearm or primary/secondary SMG;
    2) but when SMG runs out of ammo, it is automatically and instantly (without animation) replaced with a sidearm;
    3) to change the weapons with the active Shield without throwing it out (without disabling the skill) you need to do:
    a) take cover (the Shield will automatically inactive), change the weapons, exit from the cover (the Shield will automatically active);
    b) start running (the Shield will automatically inactive), change the weapons on the run, stop running (the Shield will automatically active);
    4) the impossibility with the active Shield, to keep the SMG without ammo (it immediately changes to a sidearm); and this is necessary in some cases, for example:
    a) talents of this weapon are needed;
    b) when the character is in the field of action of the Support Station (Ammo Cache mod), there is no way to reload the SMG after runs out of ammo. We have to take cover, change weapons to SMG without ammo, reload it from Support Station, get out of cover...


    I would like to see such changes:

    - most important: the ability, with the active Shield, to change the current weapon to a weapon from any slot, if it is the SMG or a sidearm;
    - do not automatically change the SMG to a sidearm if the SMG has run out of ammo during the shooting (LMB is pressed, and after releasing), and change it to a sidearm after the LMB is released and pressed again (repeated attempt to fire without ammo);
    - the possibility of changing the weapon to SMG without ammo;
    - animation of the weapon changing with the active Shield, including automatic change to a sidearm after zeroing ammo;
    - increase of the Health of the Shield for Classified Bonus Improved FrontLine (9000 Stamina and six parts of Classified Set) at least to 250-350% or more; the current value of 200% is not enough, especially in PVP.



    And some other suggestions:


    --- in D3-FNC Set appearance we have a hatchet; I'm constantly want to use it to finish enemy... It would be very cool to make for all classified 6-pieces sets possible to finish NPC, for example, the last NPC in combat, like as Hunters do it in the Underground;
    --- It would be great to be able to play for the Hunters in the Underground. It would be a sort of a special PvP mode. But it certainly needs to be thought through carefully ...
    --- where is sorting possibility when open inventory box of character?
    --- where is possibility disassemble only selected item (not marked as a junk) when many other items was marked as a junk already, or at least the ability to remove the junk mark immediately/simultaneously from all marked items?
    --- where is possibility disassemble (or drop out ) the caches (containers) from a DZ pouch for contaminated items? If I have already many blue/other containers (pouch is full of 9), if I want to change it with better one I can't take a new yellow/green containers!..

    Ok... its not the shield HP its more the striker set...
    Nothing else can destroy your shield.

    I mean increase shield hp even more is insane...

    With the 45% dmg reduce and the 30 armor buff is your shield extreamly strong.

    Any stat change on this set right now result in a bad set or a op set until it get nerfed to the ground.

    Your video is a bad example. There is not a single moment in it where in 1vs1 situation shield survives and wins; and when playing in a group of 4 players almost any set will be a good one...

    To destroy Shield with 1.4M HP in this test u need:
    a) 30 bullets for Striker with 6k firearms;
    b) 60 bullets for Reclaimer with less than 3k firearms;
    c) one Sticky bomb with 900k damage...

    I know this is not >2M HP shield but in any way that result is very bad for 6 parts Classified shield with 9k stamina!!!

    Its always 2.35 everything blow that is a bad builded build.

    And just a little reminder...
    D3 is a Team Set its not intended to win a 1vs1.
    It is a Tank Support Set and not tank DPS Set.

    your not the first to ask for weapon swapping I did post the suggestion myself and right after I did, I saw someone else's thread on this topic. I hope they read the forums and can include this in upcoming patches. Would be really cool!

    Just think a little, why character with a shield cant win 1vs1 head-on clash with character without a shield?

    I just may answer on this with your words: "...that is a bad builded build" or bad teamplay.
    And any set will be better in a group than solo...

    In any way D3 need some improvements and revision...

    With the current pvp modifier there is only 1 build.

    You have to reach a stamina cap.
    A skill power cap.
    And you don't even get to choose your perf mods.

    The armour buff does Jack for your shield in fact it makes you tankier than your shield!

    I'm ok with it being the best way to build the set but because of the ridiculous pvp modifier (not saying there shouldn't be one, it's just too high) what once was a versatile set is now a 1 trick pony.

    Have 6 classified
    Build it specifically one way (No deviations)
    Have pre made group
    Or
    Use something else

    But the ~~ 10% will know how to play against it or outnumber you.

    I don't ask for indestructible shield but for a shield which not destroyable by one clip of cartridges (ask for min 100 bullets) or one Sticky bomb (ask for min two) or something else "one", i.e. relatively easy! And that's all...

    I finally got the 6th piece of D3 last night and it's a terrible build. It's absolutely trash. Unlike Predator, if you put 9k into Stamina, you sacrifice everything else. Weapon choice, mobility, build choice, viable heals, range, damage output, and even weapon talents. The only talent I've seen that works with D3 is Meticulous. At this point, you may as well run the set with a Midas.

    I've put together every reasonable Ninjabike D3 hybrid and they all offer benefits above the 6 piece. Not just in utility, but in consistency, and intent. This is one of the reasons why the 6 piece isn't a viable PvP option, and is an unnecessary PvE option.

    Ninjabike D3 Builds offer:
    Alphabridge- faster regeneration with increased base damage for a blend of survivability and increased dps
    Banshee- More damage output
    Final Measure- more defensive protection from grenades and the same amount of it against Elites that the 6 piece offers.
    FireCrest- More grenades for optimal crowd control. Shield offers more safety when trying to place the grenades properly
    Hunter's Faith- Basically lets smgs shoot outside of their intended range, and the headshots increase DPS.
    Nomad- up to 30% health on kill with constant regen for maximum survivability
    Predator- More damage output, faster reloading
    Striker- Ease of use and EAD for a bit more damage against tougher enemies
    Tactician- Faster haste which means more frequent healing. If that heal is Booster shots then you can have more tankiness AND DPS guaranteed every 25ish seconds or less depending on haste. If your gun has Competent as well, that makes it even better.

    Reclaimer, DeadEYE, and Lonestar don't really do anything beneficial to D3 so those are left out. Now let's look at the consistency.

    All of these bonuses have CONSTANT uptime and are viable even if your shield gets destroyed without retracting from being a tank, as there's never a time when you'll need more than 1 million shield health in PvE, especially not if you're running Combat Medic and playing with a full team.

    As for comparing it to other Classified sets:
    Nomad tanks better and can be built any way
    Predator tanks extremely well and deals heavy damage
    Striker can face tank AND deal heavy damage
    Tacticians with good movement and haste can keep overshields at nearly all times allowing them to tank, and their skills put out heavy damage.
    Reclaimer and FireCrest offer an extreme amount of support to your team and are even solo viable if built to be so.

    D3 4, 5, and 6 piece bonuses need to be reworked.
    4 Piece- increase health for every 2000 Stamina, this allows at least a small amount of speccing elsewhere, even if only with mods. This would let you unlock low requirement weapon talents.
    5 Piece- increase the resilience to 10%, not 5, and change the Protection from Elites back to 15% Damage to Elites.
    6 Piece- Increase the melee damage by 1% for every point of Stamina, with a max of 10000%. Remove the damage threshold buffs, and instead give the D3 user Reactive Targeting, Assault Shield, and Kinetic Breaker all at once. These are consistent and powerful bonuses that would allow a D3 user to build a variety of ways without being forced to play with a team of 4.
