Hi ubisoft i have been a huge fan of ur games since 2010,but i am facing an issue in the game rainbow six siege.the problem here is that when i try to play the game it always lags and the fps dorps from 90 to 25.and the update rate icon appears.

i7 7700hq
gtx 1060 6gb

Are you on Windows 10? If so please try heading to the .exe file in your Steam directory, right click it, select Properties, Compatibility and select to 'Disable fullscreen optimizations'.

I got the same problem and the fullscreen optimization thing didn't work for me. Are there any other known solutions for this problem? Can't play the game right now.

CPU: i7-7700HQ @ 2.8 GHz, 4 Cores, 8 Logical
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
Using a Razer Blade Notebook

I also opened a case via the german support center with an msinfo and dx file for a more specific overview: 06043818

Same problem here. Had no problems with this game before White Noise patch.

16GB RAM
CPU i7-4720HQ
GPU GTX 980M
2 Gigabit Fiber Internet with ping of 9ms in game

Siege currently runs 90-110fps, but update rate icon comes on every 3-5 seconds and I get massive stuttering its literally unplayable.

Hey guys, also please make sure that Shading Quality is set to Medium or lower.

Settings are set the the absolute minimum. Even anisotropic is at linear. AA on T-AA or OFF doesn't seem to help either.

Thanks, make sure nothing is interfering with the connection to the servers by trying these steps. Also, make sure your drivers are up to date. If that isn't the case for you, please create a ticket with your MSINFO/DXDIAG and a screenshot of your forwarded ports.
