A brand new, 'fresh off the lot' car wouldn't have the radio on sure, but Vira, none of the cars we'll be hopping in & out of in this game are 'brand new' vehicles. They're the parked or abandoned cars of the local populace. Literally no one I know turns their radio off when they get out of their car, so it stands to reason all these civilian vehicles scattered about Hope County would still have their radios on when you requisition them...Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
Anyway, here's the latest IGN First video of another Clutch Nixon activity.
Darn right.Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
It won't surprise me if we'll have to put up with endless/needless NPC chatter during at least some quests, by what's been shown to date.
You can skip dialogues but there's nothing you can do when they call you on the phone.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post

Within the story line; the radios turned on to "what" - the now off-the-air local radio station (assuming of course this remote Hope County had a radio station)? To the CD that the previous owner had inserted? To satellite radio?Originally Posted by HorTyS Go to original post
Again within the story line, I can see Ubisoft having a vehicle blare forth either nonsense from the cult, or chatter from the resistance (as in FC4). Just allow the player the option to completely ignore any of it after the very first time climbing into a vehicle, for rest of the game.
As an aside, I do turn off the radio (well, the "entertainment console" nowdays), as well unplug any devise(s), prior to exiting my main vehicle.
Well you're one of a small niche of people who bother with doing so, most people don't, and so the radios being on when you hop into a car is the more realistic approach to the matter. You can turn the radio off right away upon entering a vehicle, it isn't hard, so this is one of the most inanely trivial complaints there's been in a while.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
