New Community Event reward system needs some calibration and deeper thinking. | Forums

Got on finally after work, tried during lunch but PS4 server probs. The Community Event was finished already and of course no reward for me since I couldn't get into the game earlier and it finished so quick. I honestly dont think im the only one in this boat and can see it happening in the future to many people who work and have families and such that are consistent avid players but just have to budget their time to later in the day.

I think that if they are going to make the requirement to play to get the reward(which i think is a good idea) they also need to either make the goal bigger or make it so you get the reward if you try doing the goal in a certain window after its completion just so everyone has a chance to participate that might not be able to contribute within the first few hours of the event's start.

Agreed. And since we're on the topic of For Honor's rather super-irritating reward system overall, I'd invite you to take a peek at my thread when you feel like reading.
