    Skirmish fun

I had my first skirmish matches last night and it was actually quite fun.

I played Last Stand quite a bit when it came out, but I'm very much a PVE player so hadn't looked at Skirmish.

I'd really recommend it to anyone that hasn't tried it out. It can be a bit ropey with the match making, It becomes apparent very quickly when your random group is matched against a cohesive unit, but I found that accounted for only about 1/5 matches.

Anyway, give it a try. You might be surprised.

Use your mic. I always have my mics on and win many matches with low level players on my team against organized upper level teams assuming that the players on my team can follow instructions. This is the best way to learn.

    As a P v E player I have no desire to touch P v P in this game, i'm a P v E player and played P v E only I do not see the point or fun in shooting someone else.

But if you enjoyed it good luck to you have fun.

I was using my mic, lol. I just mean the difference between me and 3 people I just met all using similar builds going up against a team that have countless hours playing together and have complimenting sets.

I'm primarily a PvE player too but I quite enjoy Skirmish. It feels much more balanced than any other PvP mode and heavily relies on team work and communication.

If you're not much of a PvP player, this is a good way to get your feet wet. The simplicity of this mode will teach you all the mechanics you need to learn - strafing, dodging, efficient use of heals, understand range of engagement, giving and receiving team perks, using consumables and grenades, getting out of all but certain death situations, using PvP skills and talents, using counters to skills and talents, changing your build on the fly to match the opponent...

    I'm a PvE player
I sometimes enjoy LastStand, but more than not I'd be waiting 4+ hours for a game.
I can't handle more than 2 game because of the hit and heal delays, and boring metas make it very frustrating to play.
