Possible storyline for a sequel; spoiler

Anyone who had collected the king slayer files will know that Sueño knows about the existence of the ghosts. When he and El Muro are talking about Bookharts extreme training methods. Sueño thinks it's too extreme and Muro remarks "no force in Bolivia could stop them" to which Sueno replies" not even Ghosts?"

That raises the question of how Sueño knows about the deployment of the ghosts? Is there someone on the government payroll from the US side? Will he know where all of the witnesses such as El Cardinal, Nidia Flores and Muro are stashed? Will he be able to blackmail the government with what he knows about Sandoval?

I wouldn't mind seeing a completely different story line, like one in Burma. Yeah I know the free world generally doesn't get involved in the atrocities that go on there, due to lack of personal gain, but it would be kinda cool anyway.

It would be a cool setting but highly unlikely. They tend to avoid anything too contemporary. I always thought Bosnia would make a great ghost recon game because of the complexity of that conflict, same with Syria, or Afghanistan.

Well Bolivia's an ongoing problem with cartels, and with spy drones being used, it's not like they're being nostalgic with this one. Burma is not as rich in drug, etc, money. It would be like the Vietnam conflict in comparison. Burma is more into slaving and prostitution via human trafficking. If they were as large a scale into drugs and such, they'd be more noticed as a problem, which is why most free countries don't bother with them.

All they have to do to rationalize it is pick one scenario involving them taking the wrong person, say a relative of someone famous or politically powerful. In Wildlands that person was Ricky Sandoval. Just different circumstances, different setting. It could even be a semi famous humanitarian trying to shed light on the atrocities there.
