Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat not Installed | Forums

Hi, All,
Suddenly started seeing the above error - games was fine a week or so, ago when I ran it, but tried last night and it won't start at all - and gives the error message "Launch Error EasyAntiCheat is not Installed" with what looks like a red progress bar underneath it, inside the splash screen. (I haven't figured out how to insert a screen shot.....)

Intel i5 3470@302 GHz, 8 GB RAM DDR3@665MHz, GTX 660 2 GB, Windows 10, drivers, etc all up to date.

Anyone else encountered this issue?

Thanks Ubi-Rufus, verifying the files caused it act as if it was first time install - installed DirectX etc and the started up without issue....
I guess that something else that's been installed recently interferred with this installation.

Ubisoft needs to get rid of this EAC **** its starting to go after innocent players as well as the guilty and most of the people that get Violations are not doing anything wrong
