    Backpack Option

Guys, did someone ask Ubisoft to have an option to remove a Backpack? If they can't, atleast add more variety

I agree, and it has been raised many times. There is nothing worse than patrolling and fighting with the restrictions of a backpack in real life, so why are the ghosts forced to wear one? Also we have some special costume options with missing backpacks, so again why am I forced to equip one?

There are no current plans to add an option to remove the backpack.

Should definitely pester them about it. An exception was made for a few outfits, so why exclude this capability?

I would really like more variety of backpacks, like one with canteen and bedroll but no radio in it. And how would you carry your extra 150 rifles and SMGs and pistols and sniper rifles and shotguns and 6 prechosen outfits, plus extra clothes and drones, and grenades, and etc if you don't have a backpack on? You surely can't put all that in a pants pocket can you? Or CAN you?

When I want no backpack I select the Cammelback. It is the lowest profile pack.

That is the only way to get around it. That is why I carry the PRC backpack even though it has a radio in it. I just pretend it doesn't because it has the stuff on the outside I want to see.

Are they unable to do it or just don't want to take the time to do it? Because if they aren't willing to take the time to do it, or if for some odd reason it's just too difficult for them to do, then how can we trust Ubisoft when they say more PvE content is coming?

I mean, if you all (as in, Ubisoft as a whole) aren't even willing to take the time to implement a simple feature where we can take off the backpack (as simple as making a new backpack that has no 3d mesh and calling it "None"), then how can we trust that you're willing to take the time to give us more PvE features like you continually claim we'll get?

I'm not trying to put this on you, but please relay back to the devs that the reason your PvE community does not trust Ubisoft's word is because the devs seem unwilling to spend time on adding simple additions to the game like a no backpack option. And if you all aren't willing to add simple things to the game, we aren't going to trust you when you say you're adding more substantial things (like the rest of the FG weapons or even that PvE roadmap).

The fact that almost nothing seems to be a part of your current plans for PvE seems to indicate that, quite contrary to the community team's assurances, the devs have no plans to substantially support PvE in the future, especially since the devs are still trying to figure out what PvE content to add (despite all of the PvE feedback on here and on Reddit that makes "figuring out what to add" unnecessary for the devs at this point).

Please pass this on to the devs: There are plenty of us PvE players who are ready to support the devs by paying for new PvE content and continuing to play this game if the devs would be willing to start supporting the PvE game a bit more. But you guys have been handling the PvE community poorly for the past few months, from a lack of clear communication concerning your PvE plans to your shoddy inclusion of only some FG weapons to the campaign, where the devs couldn't even take the time to properly add these weapons (as though it was just an afterthought).

Give us PvE players a reason to continue supporting the game. If implementing NG+ is too much work for your post-release plans, fine, but give us the simpler stuff, like a no backpack option. Don't try to figure out what PvE content to add: just look at the suggestions we've already made, particularly the cosmetic suggestions posted here and on Reddit. We're giving you plenty of ideas, so give us the content we're willing to pay for.

We wouldn't be asking if we had given up on the game. We wouldn't make these requests if we didn't enjoy the game. We wouldn't be offering you hundreds of suggestions for PvE content if we weren't willing to support you by buying the content we're suggesting. Give us PvE players a reason to continue supporting you, because we want to.
