They shouldn't be completely silent, but based on overwhelming feedback we received, we did cut down the instances of the chatter.

They aren't completely silent, but I haven't heard them crack a joke since that patch. They mention stuff like the sandbox and the big house, but no jokes or idle talk anymore. I only just started playing the game just a little before the "fix" so I only heard like two of the jokes and thought they were pretty funny and then they were gone. Be nice to get them back somehow.

Agree completely, and if it were made that way to begin with, they'd probably spend less time and money in the long run, while keeping more customers happy.
