    AI team mates silent

Has something happened to this game? Was there some stupid patch that disabled it completely? Before when I played it a while back on the PS4 your squad mates would discuss things and talk between missions but now the game is just really silent and bland. I bought this game because I remembered those awesome times with the squad mates but honestly the game is just extremely boring now, squad mates have no personality. Please bring back this back or at least a toggle for this because honestly I'm extremely disappointed in the game now. Just got a new PC and wanted to finally dive into Wildlands after renting the PS4 version and it's not the same experience it used to be. This is a change that shouldn't be forced on the players because of the complaints of other players. In the next patch put a toggle for the AI chatter.

There was a patch quite a while back that was supposed to cut down on repetition of some of the banter/remarks. ....but it wasn't supposed to cut it out entirely.

Ubi received quite a few complaints from folks who were getting annoyed by it. Even the radio received an option to turn it off/on in the game world for the same reason. ....but again, these were patched months ago.

I find squad banter is 90% relative to where you are and/or what you're doing. They'll repeat the same lines, like when you're flying over or driving by the Beauty Queen's house, no matter whether you've already done that mission.

To add to my last post....

The radio option was added in the 2nd update in late March just a couple weeks after release.

The 3rd patch was the one that included a "fix" to decrease some if the banter / dialogue due to the amount of complaints they received. .....that was in April (2017).

I thoroughly enjoyed the jokes and banter they had in there previously. Jokes I KNOW I heard them say are nonexistent. Even when starting a new campaign save I don’t hear it at all. Instead I hear the same mission dialogue ive been hearing on loop for the last however long ive played this game. I’d like to see them bring back the commentary amongst your squad AI. If people don’t like it then they can turn the AI voices off in settings. It’s labeled “voice” under audio settings.

You bought this game for some poorly written, often juvenile, generic banter with some post card politics thrown.....? And now as it's absent, the entire game seems boring and bland?

    Errr, ok. 👍

Trust me you're really not missing much.

I'm pretty sure there's an option in the pause menu to switch it off or on?

They shouldn't be completely silent, but based on overwhelming feedback we received, we did cut down the instances of the chatter.

WHICH WAS A GOOD THING !!

Well done Ubisoft! And for giving the option for disabling the Radio DJ !

Believe me, whoever wrote the dialog for the squadmates and the Radio DJ is clearly not the guy who wrote dialog for Vaas or Pagan Ming! It was painful to sit through...

Just don't include Rabi Ray Rana, because his perverse obsession with Ajay was worse than Mumu Chiffon, or even anyone in GRW.

Voice overs for Far Cry 3 & 4 were far better than wildlands, that is for sure... some of the conversations and many of the comic relief bits felt over the top and even forced.

Robi Ray Rana was funny, sometimes, I agree obsessed with Ajay but I feel it was part of the whole story thing. DJ Perico on the other hand... not so much. Again, his Spanglish felt to forced, at least for someone whom Spanish if his first language.

Incredible how a good/bad song or good/bad voice can make you enjoy or hate the game a bit more/less
