It seems you're always trying to recruit the best way is to advertise in teams in the game. Leave your team join others copy and paste an advertisement for yours. Then leave the team and repeat. You can donate cards along the way also up to 50 a day I think. And then return to your team

Advertise on teams with high ranks and not a lot of active donators. I wouldn't advertise on a team that's obviously doing well for themselves. That's how I got my team up to 50 active donators
