The one shot stickys, seekers and shotguns caused huge numbers to leave. The invisability glitch and rpm glitch caused many players to leave. Cronusmax and server lag are top of the list for players leaving in the last few months.Originally Posted by objective007 Go to original post
We were playing skirmish and ls on Xbox the last 2 nights USA central and east coast. None of us had poor connection to server prompts. I logged off then back on and still experienced the problem. My friends/ team mates also had the problem. We all quit after one game as it was unplayable and noticeably the worst that we have ever seen. The lag was so bad that I couldn't hit anything, my player kept freezing, and when I was hit by another player all of the shots registered at once so I was instantly dropped.Originally Posted by UbiAmper Go to original post
So is Predator's Mark. I understand that a lot of people don't see it as an issue but a huge number of people that I play with do. Some even stated that it was worse than one shot seekers because of how frequently the bleed can be applied with no cooldown. Whether or not you think it is an issue or people are whining instead of learning to adapt is largely a matter of personal opinion. However people are leaving the game because of it, that's fact!Originally Posted by Garyfairbrass Go to original post
This thread is about the severe lag, which cannot be compensated for by skill. Predators Mark is easily countered by skill. Please direct your requests for the developers to modify the game to your needs somewhere else.Originally Posted by nairda2k9 Go to original post
I know this thread is negative is basically going to do nothing to improve anything but Im done for now. To begin with I thought maybe Im just butthurt I lost, maybe I could improve my knowledge through some usefull player tips. What I found was how to spot a cronus and use a cronus. I know now if you see a guy spam shooting his SASG while rapidly aiming down his sights more than likely he is a cronus user. Im tired of rapid fire shotgun laser guys. There is no legit way to do on this console, I have tried. Next Lag spikes are greater than ever. I had a few sessions during pvp when just when im about to down someone they start running in place and then magically teleport away. At first i thought it was poor cennection but it only occured in pvp with a few groups in dz. It would be only specific players to in dz also. Now I hear lag switching is a thing now. The cheating in this game has become rapent now, with how easy it is to do and has no other response other than ''we are looking into it" and its is a "complex issue", wich made me completely frustrated. There is not even a easy way to report people who are suspected cheaters. I even have came across player on Xbox LFG that have admitted to doing it and encourage others. Now you can say that Im overeating but just look at PUBG wich also has a cheating problem. Supposedly on average 4 people per game are cheating there. I would reckon its the same in the division. Im only ranting like this because of my love for the game. It has came so far and regained so much of its playerbase. Get it together guys. Fix this now or soon as possible.
I don't have needs, I merely stated a fact. The post above me stated similar facts in regards to other things that have made people leave the game. I note you chose to direct your insinuations of lack of skill at me rather than anyone else however.Originally Posted by objective007 Go to original post
Nonetheless feel free to pursue one reason why people leave the game primarily because it affects PvP (the only mode in the game you care about hence your biased response) and completely ignore the plethora of other reasons that people leave the game.
Massive have been doing this since beta and it has been working out really well for them. Who cares about decimating a playerbase when the developers can eradicate 98% of it in six months?
"How to decimate the player base".
"Decimate" is the punishment given to units in the ancient Roman Army who failed to accomplish an objective due to cowardice or incompetence. 10%, ie 1 out of every 10 men, died during these purges. OP speaks of decimation of the player base in regards to the PvP side of the game. I suspect that PvP has already been decimated.
PvP is however, the minority of the game. This is demonstrated by the fact that only 4% of players have played even one round of Last Stand. Compare that "decimation" of the PvP game to the losses sustained to the game as a whole, both PvP and (the majority) PvE. 98% have been lost. It is not just lag, and cheats (cheats arguably only affect the PvP game). I suspect the reasons can be found in the pages of this forum. But I am surprised that a development team would push a PvP game without implementing an anti-cheat.
