I have quit playing for honor for like 2 months and now I am trying to play it again, but it takes ages to find a match in all modes.
Maybe 15+ minutes to find a single match. I have a green nat. Does this happen with anyone else or is it just me??
Any help would be appreciated. TIA.
Thanks,
Carl.
Meanwhile over here, I select 'find another opponent' and it puts me with the same dude I had just duelled... and don't want to duel again. At least I get 30secs for leaving a match, but this is beyond frustrating and annoying.
Also, I'm getting put frequently with people from Emirates and the Gulf and Saudi Arabia (you can tell by the emblems they have, as well as usernames), 90% of whom are red natters and/or with disconnect icons. They're severely laggy and they disrupt the entire combat experience. And they think they're cool/skilled.
If anything, the matchmaker should allow us which region/range to search/connect to. We can select, like, All/All/All and we have only ourselves to blame if we connect with a red natter. Or we can select a specific region with skill rating and reputation/renown set to "All" (this would be my favourite setting).
The regions in question should be more specific and provide a bit more information of where exactly we are attempting to establish a connection with. Instead of the generic "strict", "extended" and "wide", the regions should be like "Eastern Europe", "Central Europe", North Africa", North America", "Southern China", etc.
To spice this up, I'd say also the renown/reputation setting should provide us with search brackets. K/D range 0.5-1.2, K/D range 1.23-1.9, K/D range 1.9-2.5. Etc etc.
Seriously, with this joke of a matchmaker still running, and with the lag compensation system still needing time to arrive, this won't make a smooth experience for any newcomer during season 5 at all. And it's only annoying the existing playerbase even further.
