    gore & dismemberment?

Does this game have gore and/or dismemberment? I know the rating says Blood & Gore but that doesn't always -[or even usually]- mean anything. It might be talking about the cutscenes or something. I'm talking about when you shoot a guy in head with a shotgun does his head explode? Can you cut or shoot arms/legs off? Does a whole body explode when hit by an explosion? Is there fire damage to the bodies? I haven't noticed it in the couple of gameplay videos I've seen but it's kind of hard to tell. Anyone who has an actual answer to this question would be greatly appreciated.
Please no replies just saying something along the lines of "I don't like gore in games & it's weird that you do." or something like that. I know other people are just as curious about this as I am. Maybe we can get a response from forum admins or from people who have been able to play the game already?

    Thanks everyone.

off topic but I remember Soldier Of Fortune they did the gore and dismemberment correct in that game, I don't think we will ever see anything like that in Far Cry.

There's a hint of gore, like when an enemy's killed with an explosion or with the combine tractor (nice blood splat on the windshield/hud.

Unfortunately, that gore particle effect is all that's there in the Far Cry games. The enemies will usually just disappear when overkilled. It's something I'd like to see different too!

    Gore in Far Cry 5

You know, I've always thought about this as an issue that games like Far Cry and even GTA have to work on cuz they're all about making the game look real but totally lack on the most obvious things like gore and body dismemberment. I mean, not saying I like it cuz I'm a savage but simply cuz I prefer games to look as real as they can get and it is totally graphically possible for companies like Ubisoft to do it. It really doesn't take much. Plus it makes the game more fun and exciting for the majority of ppl cuz nowadays who doesn't like gore? Maybe back in the early 2000's would be bad but even then we had games like Mortal Kombat and Manhunt and Unreal Tournament which are extremely gory. I just hate shooting at an npc with a .50cal on the head and it looks like they got hit by a 9mm. A .50cal should blow their heads off! And explosions should dismember them, simply cuz it would add a really cool touch and sense of realism.

I really hope the Zombie DLC will try to feature some detachable limbs or something. Hard to think of zombies without the extra gore.

Even if they would simulate it in the death scene, like remove the zombie altogether in puff of blood and spawn physics-based limbs/parts it'd be cool already.
