    Smg maximum range with mods

Is the maximum range for an SMG 61FT?

Definitely not. I have an MP5 that I use with my Defense build, and I've got the range up to either 91 or 92 feet, I forget which...essentially a handheld assault rifle. You can get mods for optimum range on the stock and scope, and possibly the muzzle too, I don't remember off the top of my head. I can post details tomorrow if you're interested (going to bed right now.)

    Maximum range?

Do you mean optimal range before damage drop off or just how far the bullet will travel?

Optimal range mods have no say in how far a bullet will travel but how far they will travel before damage drop off.

With the House base of 55ft and a couple of 4.5-5.0 mods your looking at what you have, 61 feet. Not sure what else you can do, but I’m new so don’t take it verbatim. Two piece HF will give you 20%.

Then no 61ft is not the max.

I just slapped on the 2 optimal range mods (sight and grip) that I had on the character I using (with the house) and I bumped my optimal range up to 96ft.

Add a barrel mod with optimal range (which I think you can only get as a minor attribute) on and you are looking at maybe 98/99ft and I'm not even sure which smg has the highest base optimal range so if any have a longer base range (with a grip slot as well as a few don't) then 100ft is definitely possible.

However you will not hit many shots at that range with an smg plus you will be sacrificing around 30% crit damage to do so.

That question messed me up big time!

I forgot I switched my mods out and went into a skirmish match with them still on!!!!

Still got a couple of kills before I had a chance to switch em back! 😂

That is weird. I have a small grip with 4.5 optimal range and a pro red dot scope with 4% optimal range which yielded me 61ft. I just got a new pro red dot with 5% optimal range and when I slapped it on and checked my optimal range it stood at 61ft. It didn’t move at all. That 1% should have bumped it passed 61ft if your saying you got yours past 90+ feet

Not sure how people are getting 90+ft either. When you run the numbers of your mods, I’m getting roughly 59.7ft. That’s based on info I’ve seen about base weapon ranges. The House base is 55 ft, my MP5 is 52 ft. To go higher, I would think gear stats would have to be added. Btw, the 0.5% increase on your scope won’t be much at 61ft.

You could look into stats altogether here. Click the red PDF line.

I used a exps3 holographic sight with 23.5% optimal range and a vertical grip with 48.5% optimal range.
Neither of those even have the maxed stat.
