Hello dear developers and artists of the wonderful game For Honor. Thank you for the great game, which is so nice to play.
In the game, the armor received for the victories is worn and scratched. I have a request to you - please add a paint or model of armor that would look new, without scratches, as if from a forge.
Certainly worn armor is part of the entourage, but when they were new.
To create the illusion of new armor you have to paint them black.

And I would like to see new armor of all colors.
And also add the ability to repaint your pants at will and not along with the armor, as it is now.

Honestly, I think this is the first request I've ever seen for "clean" armor. Kudos for that mate.

I'm not sure if untarnished armor would fit well into the game though. The world of For Honor is one of near constant warfare, if any armor were at any point, clean, they would not stay that way for long. Heroes like the Raider even show scars on the body, in addition to worn armor.

We're inhabiting a world where there's a constant struggle for resources, every day is full-on 360 degree combat. In such a world, beautifying your armor, or just bothering to polish it, would be a wasted effort.
A shiny clean Knight would look quite out of place. Like those Witcher 3 mods that remove all of Geralts scars.

The whole community still supports new and refreshing/different armor sets though, but everything we get kinda has to fit the theme of the game.

I saw a similar post about this where someone said that they wish the costumes would start out clean and then get dirty and bloody as you fight. Then when you respawn, it's clean again. The weapons are clean damn near all the time lol. And I know you can make the argument that weapons don't really get dirty but surely they are worn out shredded if they are constantly being used in Warfare. That's another thing that can happen, maybe when you parry someone else or blocks their attacks then your weapons get little scratches and blood on it. I don't know. What do you guys think? I think it sounds great and doable. Is that a word lol?
