Is this true? no new armor just weapons? we really need some new armor looks for this game. not just more and more reskins.

I think in the Reveal Straem I saw some new spike/razor variations of existing armors, but I can be wrong.

There will be 3, or 4 (devs can be a bit unclear at times) new weapon sets for all heroes when Season 5 launches this Thursday, new armor sets will only drop later in the season, but no specifics as to when.

We also don't know if we're looking at more reskin variations, or actually new armor sets.

Someone on these forums (can’t remember who for the life of me) speculated that the Armor that could potentially drop later this season could be a part of an event, such as the Frost Wind event we had a little while ago that dropped weapons for us. That would be nice.

Personally I would prefer it if it means the team are takin extra care and actually designing new armors that look good, instead of the classic “reskin” we have gotten the past 4 seasons.

Neat. I, for one, would also like armors akin to these:













But, knowing Ubisoft's take on armor 'design' in this game, I doubt this will ever happen. Also yes... no spikes.

They are bringing out more Weapon sets and maybe Armor sets. Did they say they were adding more loadouts and extend the Inventory to hold all this? Not being sarcastic just been away from the game for awhile.

Nope, won't be done anytime soon. Tech limitation, they said. As in, game engine limitation. And they care more about the Faction War than about our inventory limit and loadout limit.
