Why is all the recent ubisoft games refusing to put local coop in them? This game should have ad least local coop since its only TWO PLAYERS. If its online only it should adleast be 4player coop. Ubisoft you need to start adding local coop back to your games. Im sick of this online only crap. Consider those of us fans who have friends, wifes, husbands, and siblings. We would like share the experience with them. Not everyone wants to just play ONLINE. Who else agrees with me? For those who love and want local coop back lets tell ubisoft make this game and future games LOCAL COOP!
And thats whats crazy yet stupid. Im sure their is more then enough people that want and love local coop. Its really poor excuse for them. I feel like if come together as a community they can see that is a feature that should be mandatory for those of us you like ubisoft games and local coop. They did it a lot in the old days they can do now. Whats so hard about making a game online and coop. Being the be developer they are. I think their just lazy about this as always. This needs to be fixed. I pretty passionate about both.
Always love it when someone accuses a dev of being "lazy" when they have little to no idea how much work a feature could take. People don't realize how taxing local split-screen can be. The game can only render so much at a time & split-screen requires they do that twice. Then there is the issue of work:demand ratios, and I really don't think local coop meets the required metrics, lest we forget those calling for it online are the vocal minority. It may seem like it does in the bubble of those who want it, but in the grand scheme? Unlikely.
There's nothing to be "fixed" and while I can appreciate someone's passion for a feature to be included in a game, simply because it is left out does not imply a developer is "lazy".Originally Posted by GHOST2STEP Go to original post
Personally, I would like to see the feature included as well but it's not something that's a deal breaker by any means for me.
IMO, folks should make themselves be heard about their ideas and suggestions. If you can rally the community to help convince Ubi that this is an option they should include in their games, I'd be right there with ya. ....but I can't be on board with your train of thought above.
