    Thanks for the many answers.

Right now I feel like leaving the game and rather go back to Destiny. Forcing PvE players into totally imbalanced, troll-infested PvP setting by means of massively superior drop rates and a weekly PvE-bounty is just mean spirited.

Well, maybe I'll tr doing the incursions and WSP more often. Legendary missions? I don't know. My gear is mostly trash and I don't have a single full set. RNG is trolling me. Which is part of the reason I went for the tedious way of farming div tech in the first place, improving at least the few good items I do have.

I would not use TDech on anything other than Classified gear (or exotics). I filled out Strikers, DeadEye and Lonestar from LZ boss runs. It's tedious, but it's possible.

Drop rates are going to change soon, I'd hang in for a couple more weeks to see what they announce.

Lately my method of farming caches in the DZ is to avoid firefights. Sneak around, don't shoot at any NPCs unless you are cornered. DO NOT clear landmarks, its like sending up a series of flares to everyone on the server that someone is in the area farming. And keep an eye on the map, if you see landmarks going gray, move to a different area. When you see a manhunt kick off, again steer clear and try to extract somewhere well away from the path of the manhunt rogues and the manhunt console. Its also safer to extract during supply drops and contamination events, because most (but not all) rogue players will tend to go to those events. I've been doing pretty well with this strategy and a few others that I will keep to myself for now, the walls have ears.

By far the easiest way is to manipulate your gear score so that you fit into a lower bracket DZ. It shouldn't be like that but I wouldn't bank on it changing any time soon.

I'm with BigJohn, here. This is exactly what I do when farming caches, all the way down to using manhunt times to extract (best time, with Contamination Events being the next).

I add onto it hitchhiking extractions already in progress. It's risky, but since the players are THERE, you can scope them out ahead of time from a safe distance and determine if you want to try putting your stuff on the rope. The extra players (assuming they aren't rogues-to-be) are good for helping against rogues, and if the timer is already part-finished and no rogues have shown, your odds are better than if you had to stand there the entire time, alone.

And there are methods - not 100% sure, but decent - for figuring out if a player or a team are set up for Farming or PvP. It's pretty safe trying to extract with a group of Farmers. What skills they deploy against the NPC's is a good start for working out their 'affiliation'. And I don't try to hitchhike when I see a large group of players unless I'm 99% sure they're farmers - 3-4 is generally something I avoid.

Again, risky, but there are ways to cut that risk and the whole DZ thing is risky anyway.

Concealed pulse is your biggest friend here, allowing you to get close and check out the other players without getting noticed.

Knowing the area like the back of your hand helps as well. I can muddle my way through most of the DZ and not get totally lost, but DZ 09 I know solidly, which not only helps getting all of the DivTech, but losing Rogues if they start in on me. I'm no escape artist, but I get away more than I die, and that's the important thing.

Just doing a few resistance farms you can obtain around 30 or so caches in a couple of hours. HVT's are a great source of junk to break down. You can farm quite a bit of divtech that way. It's nowhere near the DZ rate but you can get there.

I'd hate to lose another agent, what system are you on? Maybe we could find someone in here that plays on the same system that could and would be willing to give you a hand.

Depends, too often the PvP modifiers usually mean punishment for the PvE. I know they have claimed PvP modifiers don't affect PvE and then see Skill deteriorate.
Then you have the issue of those who refuse to go to the DZ and still request a PvE DZ or some equivalent that truly gives us a DZ experience without the PvP.

So modifier really does nothing but reward the PvP players.
