From what you tell us, I think your issue is that you built your FC for PvE and no matter what, a PvE build can't compete with PvP builds, aside from striker. Anyway, even built for PvP it's obvious that FC can't compete with striker.

The FC build is more of a support build because you have to invest into electronics, so obviously as a support you won't be the biggest damage dealer.

I can't tell if the turret was hitting hard if that's your concern because I stood out of range.
Why give players an offensive skill if you limit it from damaging. They nerfed turrets with GE3 so that they would be worthless now to prevent PvP players from crying about it now. FC even as support is worthless in the DZ. It is worthless in anything else. Turrets, seekers, stickies, are all offensive skills that are really useless for the sake of PvP. If a support build has to rely on them for their offense, then they need to compete at the levels to combat Pred, Striker, and Nomad. The same arguments for go for any SB. Otherwise they should remove all skills and just make this TD: A COD Game. Skills is part of what makes this different then the other shooters and it got removed one nerf at a time.Originally Posted by babast- Go to original post
You are right, you cant rely on the turret to output damage and I'm ok that it should have decent damage when you invest a lot in skill power. I don't know how you built your FC but if you invested all in electronics, you should give a try to a more balanced build, something with 6K electronics and the rest where you wish to invest. It's far to be on par with top tier gear sets but it's decent.
I tried it full on electronics and I have tried it balanced with it tilted towards electronics. The turret is worth less. It isn't crowd control cause no one fears it. NPCs and Players alike will just stand in the flames without consequences. Meanwhile with the 6th piece, NPCs do damage to me cause if they do catch fire they charge right at me and blow up, catching me on fire.
