    Explain the new "parry changes"

There is still a heavy after lights...most if not all heavies are 900ms, parry wizards on pc are still gonna turtle. Why did they add a timer to light parry rewards? May as well have kept it guaranteed after light parry.

Heavy parry change was a good thing but, on pc, people parry lights like its nothing, I don't think a heavy should be rewarded since, again the goal is to remove turtle meta. Seems counter productive especially with a limit at 900ms

lets just take the heavies out of the game and play with light attacks then.........

I kind of agree, but I would go further, NOTHING should be guaranteed, this would need to increase damage an ALL characters to avoid long fights, but that would make fights a lot faster.

Hey everyone, along with the live event we'll have an article up tomorrow covering the full parry changes. We'll link it on all the channels once it's live.

check this out guys, i think it's an amazing idea to kill the defensive meta forever

    https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...-meta-for-good

EDIT: i report it here because i know you are lazy

    So I just watched this

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlL0Z2tIi6s

    Basically he says the following:

    1. After a parry you get no free damage, instead you are granted a brief damage boost

    2. Parrying still causes you to get a bit of chip damage, while blocking even more

That's it. You can easily understand that this way the players are encouraged to attack, even more if they want to make use of their damage boost (which shouldn't be enormous, otherwise players will just roll away until it goes off). And the increased chip damage would prevent fights to last hours.

    Thoughts?
