Stop doing things on the GUI thread
The entire PvP screen is horribly slow and unresponsive whenever you update the card donation lists, pretty sure you are doing it on the GUI thread instead of in the background.
I.e., whenever I go PvP and get a new card from the lockers, then return to the PvP screen you start updating the card donation list values (stating how many cards I have of the type someone wants). Entire thing freezes for something like one to ten seconds. Open a PvP pack and get some card anyone wants? Same ****, entire GUI is frozen for several seconds. Once everthing is sorted, there is no performance issue but its like you open a pack then you have to sit waiting for the new kid to start animating again before you can do anything. Actually pretty much clicking anything at all in the PvP screen makes the GUI laggy and unresponsive, including clicking to see the rank rewards or checking the arenas.
Same issue is around while playing the actual game: whenever multiple units are added at once (rats, pidgeons, etc) there is a visible framerate drop/frame freeze, indicating that you locking the entire thing up on the GUI thread during unit spawn. Once the units are on the board the framerate is solid and my phone sure as hell doesnt die from drawing a few more units on the screen so there is no performance issue with the actual rendering.
I dont mind a few rough edges and unoptimized views, especially when they are new (when the neighborhood section was first added) but you guys have had ample opportunity to sort this out by now. I like this game but you cant just add GUIs that are hardly working then leave them that way indefinitely. It has been a while since the latest game update and its hard to feel like much is improving. The impression is that most updates are just a few balance tweaks, perhaps the addition of a new card or two, while the game itself is left as is.

I think this is just a case of people who really don't care. Quality Control is not in their vocabulary.
