A discussion with my friends that I play Wildlands with and we aren't too thrilled that only one player gets credit for completing missions. It is supposed to be a co-op mode and that would mean whoever played the mission should get credit for it; if you already have it completed you just gain experience, same as Wildlands. Anyone else feel this way? I have not really followed much of the FarCry series but Wildlands got my friends curious so I will most likely pick this one up. Would there be any merit to opening it up to more than two people for co-cop as well? Typical 4 person squad for multiplayer co-op would be nice, not that you NEED 4 people but that the option is there if you want it. Curious what other peoples thoughts are on this.
Are you sure? it seems quite strange to me...Originally Posted by WICKI1984 Go to original post

Direct quote from the Ubisoft FAQ's about the game
"Q. How is my progression saved when I am invited to join a friend’s game in co-op?
A. The player invited in the host’s game is essentially a “Friend for Hire”. When you join a co-op game as a guest, you are playing in your host’s world and help them progress.
This means that once you leave the co-op mode after a game as a Friend for Hire, you do not keep the World Progression completed during the co-op session. However, you keep your own Player Progression – XP, in-game currency, inventory items, and more – once you leave the co-op game and are back in your own world."
When you play in Wildlands are very simply asked if you want to "join" the mission or not. You get to decide whether or not progress your single player game or not. It would be nice here as well because if I am guest with a friend and complete a mission...I, personally, do not want to go back and replay it again on my own.
