A mini-siege gamemode event idea that you ought to see. (...please?)
So everybody wants a siege gamemode ya? What if, there was an event for a mini-siege gamemode on already 1 of the pre-existing maps?
also I am using Riverfort as an example, this could still work with Gauntlet, Overwatch, Sanctuary bridge, Forge,Temple Garden, and even Sentinel can be used in this format shown here. The other maps like Citedell Gate may have a different format like an escort the ram mission.
So this idea came when I was playing on Riverfort. The Viking map that came in the vanilla game back in season 1. And this is how I thought it could play out.
FIRST: There would be a mini battle were the attackers spawn. The gate to the fort is closed and the walls are not torn, it's like the battle has JUST started. The attackers have to push their minions to the wall and deal damage to it, only the minions can do this. At the same time the defenders spawn in the walls and they jump off of it via rope to take no fall damage.The way the heroes respawn in this session of the battle is like the Dance of Death event. The defenders have a helping hand with some archer minions as well. The attackers have more minions spawn than the defenders. The defenders win by keeping the attackers off the walls for 5 minutes, and the attackers advance if the wall is destroyed. If the wall is destroyed you can put up the ladders and the siege gear that normally shows in the normal map. The gates also open too. This battle takes place in the attacker's spawn point in normal Dominion.

IN THE SECOND SESSION: If the attackers destroy the wall the game will enter a mini-dominion match in the ramparts, however the Zone B is significantly larger and gives 2 points per. second. The respawn is set to normal, the attackers can't go to the defender's spawn, and there are captains that guard the captured zone points. The score limit is 500 instead of the normal 1000. Since this is all 1 big gamemode. Only the attacker team can break. For the defenders can only fall back if they lost.

IN THE THIRD SESSION: The defenders retreat to their barracks for one final effort to thwart the invaders. The attackers have to go into the spawn point of the defenders in order to destroy the barracks (which is just some explosive stuff to blow up the barracks). The defenders win by keeping the attackers away for another 4 minutes. Also once the barracks are destroyed the defenders go into breaking. Making the attackers basically win.

At the end it shows a cutom-made cutscene with your heroes doing something, either war cries or just standing there. The beginning is like the heroes seeing an advancing group of attackers and the clamber down the wall on a rope, vise versa for attackers.
